    Rian actually used more lense flares than JJ. I only remember one lense flare in TFA.

    If it were being split into two parts... wouldn't we have known about it by now? Since they're filming IX and what not.     Not necessarily, especially if they want it to be a surprise. I doubt it though, but it's weird that they're filming that long for IX. It's about 6 months. Usully movie making for big budget movies takes about 3-4 months. So, you never know...

    Considering the comments of what we heard about the scope and scale that JJ is pushing this film, that takes extra time, money, and effort. It makes absolute sense this is still one film. Lord of the Rings didn't happen overnight. Also....

    (The) Heir Of Vader. This title could refer to Kylo Ren or Vader's legacy in general. Furthermore by using "Vader" in the title you could get back a lot of people who are still angry about TLJ...

    I still really like Rebellion Reborn, I think that would be really fitting for the final chapter and bring a new meaning to Luke’s words to Kylo in The Last Jedi — not to mention, I would imagine the rebuilding of the Rebellion is absolutely going to be part of Episode IX, Rey even alludes to it in her conversation with Leia at the end of The Last Jedi.

    That being said, Spark of Hope is a little cheesy but could also work. I like Son of Darkness but feel like it would’ve been a better fit for the middle part of the trilogy.

    The title was announced on that date because production was finished. EPIX is set to be finished shooting in February. So I would expect a title next month.
