    I think we can start creatively guessing at the crawl for the next sequel. My guess:
    "The fragile peace between the REPUBLIC and FIRST ORDER has been shattered. All out war has consumed the galaxy once more as both sides escalate the conflict. The RESISTANCE led by GENERAL LEIA ORGANA seeks to end the war by constructing a new weapon, but faces resistance from elements of the REPUBLIC. Strange stories of a cloaked figure and his staff-wielding friend have emerged from the battles of the outer-rim as LUKE and REY pursue an ancient JEDI artifact in a bid to restore peace to the galaxy."

    Probs not but you can see my hopes - that the resistance/republic slowly becomes the enemy it fights because war does that. And that Luke and Rey have already bonded and headed off on an adventure.

    Well, she had it there at the end. I'm thinking it's likely she'll end up with a double-bladed saber down the line. Either just appearing with one or with a build quest on the big screen

    What I love is the fact that in the next two movies, Rey will be mentioned in the crawl. She is important to these movies after all.

    Was wondering how they'll do this.
    I'm thinking a rundown/state of play telling us the big points of where Kylo now is, the resistance are in disarray and scrambling/gathering to establish a new government
    Meanwhile on Ahch-To....and cut to skellig

    STAR WARS EPISODE VIII
