yeah, i agree. the world buildng in the PT was extraordinary. even in the clone wars, you knew that george lucas was a master of world building.. he should really just keep doing animated stuff about the universe.. it's incredible what he does.

If LFL/Disney has the contractual obligation for VIII/IX, then they need to work with GL ago use him. He has great concepts and architectural designs but if only he wrote story treatments for The ST and had thee directors like JJ and co write the actual screenplay and direct than TFA and beyond would be SOOO MUCH BETTER ATHAN THEY ALREADY ARE .

Lucas has imagination and ideas. But yeah, he really should simply come up with general ideas/story outlines (which he's good at), and then leave it to others to actually direct the movies, write the scripts, and work on the dialogue. Because the direction and dialogue in TFA really shows Lucas's limitations in that regard, and how he's not all that good at working with actors either.

We don't know how the sequence ends. It could simply be a case of Luke and Rey buying enough time for a retreat. Also the movie doesn't necessarily have to have a completely downer ending. The heroes forced to withdraw and hide while planning their next move, and the FO firmly with the upper hand, could do the job nicely, depending on how it's executed.

That first shot, if they could pull it off well, could easily end up being one of the "iconic" SW shots. Just the description sounds epic and quite poetic.

I lean towards this probably being legit based on the sources and the fact it matches up to the latest skellig michael scenes with the rain machines being shot. IF it is legit it makes me happy that Luke is finally getting involved with the galaxy again and we see that iconic green lightsaber again.

But then again...is Mark Hamill in a good enough shape to do something like a big fight scene?

And if it is actually a real spoiler from the upcoming movie, it sounds like Luke and Rey are not fighting Kylo and mysterious lightsaber wielder guy to defeat them but to buy time for a Chewie. Resistance escape

that stormtrooper video he shot for Omaze showed him in really good shape. Bit more training, I could see him in combat.

I guess it could also work depending on who he fights and why, if he is fighting mysterious lightsaber dude (possibly BDT's character) and biding time for an escape he doesn't need to fight as hard, assuming that the character is weaker than Kylo Ren

I could see it panning out to be Luke versus BDT character (if we assume that's him) and Rey versus Kylo Ren.

Well Disney and LF did apparently hire both him and Carrie Fisher personal trainers. And just comparing Mark now to how he looked, like a year or two ago, he's clearly slimmed down A LOT!! He actually looks really good for his age all things considered.

And I presume that, if these rumors turn out to be true, that it'll be Rey vs. Kylo round 2 and then Luke vs. IDK, Benicio del Toro (who's in his late 40's) maybe. So that'll help probably since it'll be two middle-aged actors facing off.

...and, he looked great at the premier. Slimmed down and much more youthful than in TFA.[IMG]

Mark looks a lot younger too honestly so it helps get him to look age appropriate (since Luke would be about 54-56 in this movie, depending on how far from TFA it is) and Hamill being 64

Agreed. And the beard/longer hair (assuming that he keeps them in the next movie) also helps,

Compare the two images [IMG] (around the time of the GOTG premier)

    and the TFA premier:

It will be awesome to see Rey and Luke spar a bit with the iconic Anakin and Luke sabers clash together

If this is true, maybe the Luke and Rey training scene will be right after the first few scenes probably about 15-20 minutes into the film? Maybe this is around the time Rey learns of her origins?

With the fact we got very accurate leaks around this far out from TFA I wouldn't be surprised if this is true, but until we get actual concept art leaked? Yeah probably bs honestly.

    Ah true, that's a possibility.
Also don't know why someone voted my post as trolling, I've never seen a SW storyboard leaked early before so it never crossed my mind :p

IIRC didn't we get TFA storyboard leaks around a year out from it? I can't remember if it was a year out or a few weeks, so many things got leaked from a year out to the week before its premier.

Just got a confirmation from a second source. This is 100% BS. Sorry guys. I know that some of you really liked the description, but these are the facts. I stake my reputation on this. All of it. :)

    Now let's move on.
