Indeed and worse the Jedi commited genocide against us Dark Jedi and struck the first blows! Keepers of the peace? Huh they are liars:

“Facts are few about the events that led to the First Schism, when the relatively young Jedi Order went up against the first organized band of Dark Jedi. We know that it was in approximately 24,500 B.B.Y. that a faction of Jedi Knights renounced the ancient Jedi Masters and experimented with new ways to use the Force. Apparently frustrated by the rigid teachings of their former teachers, these rebels celebrated their freedom by giving in to their passions and emotions, and touching the power of the dark side. They called themselves the Legions of Lettow, and they were led by General Xendor, a powerful Force-using humanoid whose origins remain unknown. The Jedi Council, enraged at this act of disobedience, declared war on the general and his followers. The Jedi emerged victorious.” (Jedi vs Sith, The First Dark Legion, Ryder Windham).

The Jedi are hypocrites. They claim they want peace not power, but allign with politicians in the Republic and crush all unorthodox Force users. They fought so hard against the Dark Jedi because they knew how powerful we Sith would become.

I really like #15. I felt like Ani made so many of the Jedi nervous. They seemed conflicted about what to do with him, especially when he showed his emotions. Like a bomb that could go off at any moment. Re-watching the prequels as many times as I have...part of me feels sad for Ani. He tried to go to them for help...hell they asked him to spy on his friend. I don’t agree with his choices, but I do understand how he ended up lost.

What puzzles me is that the Jedi would think they coukd impose their dogmas on Anakin when they believed he was The Chosen One who would “bring balance to the Force.” Yoda even admitted “a prophecy misread could have been.” How can you expect someone who is to bring balance, something not seen since the Jed’aii Order, to conform to the parameters of Jedi Orthodoxy?

That was part of the problem. The Jedi couldn't question their own motives without doubting their own righteousness.

Well said Lord Pobody, the Jedi’s self righteousness blinded them to our Lord Sidious and his plans, “your arrogance blinds you Master Yoda!” (Palpatine, ROTS). The Sith unlike the Jedi allow for a range of beliefs ans understandings of the Force (The Sith Cults, Book of Sith). (red)

The Jedi weren't immoral so much as they were amoral. When you deny yourself natural, human emotions how can you possibly be moral? Fear? Not allowed. Love? Nope. Anger? Bury your feelings deep down.

You take a gifted child and raise him or her in a world where nobody feels anything and what do you get? (Hint: look at my avatar)

The Jedi were not too different from the clones they commanded. Raised to follow orders, trained to experience no fear, forbidden to fall in love or raise a family. They unlocked great power in the Force by denying the very emotions that made them human, but was it worth the price?
