Favorite character in The Force Awakens?

Rey. There is just something inherently likable about her, and is someone I really look forward to seeing grow as a hero. Definitely enjoyed watching her character arc in this film and am wondering where it will be taken in Episode VIII.

 

Rey!

 

Kylo Ren. I am now obsessed with Kylo Ren.

 

BB-8 But Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren really come close

 

Rey....followed by Kylo.

 

Rey. She's incredibly relatable and reminds me of myself.

 

#1 (no contest) Rey-She's just amazing. She's fun, and likeable, and endearing, and funny, and certainly tough. Plus her moments of "dorkiness" are also a delight. Plus Daisy Ridley is just fantastic. I look forward to see where they take her character moving forward, and to seeing her and Luke playing off of each other.

#2 Kylo Ren-He's an interesting villain and I look forward to seeing his development moving forward. Plus Adam Driver was also fantastic.

#3 Finn-He's instantly likeable as well, and in many ways he's probably the most inspiring character in the entire film. Plus he's really funny as well, and Boyega plays off of pretty much everyone really well.

 

i hate voting on this sort of thing. i love all the characters! i want to pick Rey, but i really love Han. and how can you pick Han without Chewie? and Finn is awesome and BB-8 is hilarious, and....

...and i picked Kylo Ren because at the end of the day i have a fatal love for broken villains. i'm weak that way.

I really enjoyed all the new characters like Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, etc.

My #1 is Rey, hands down.

I typically am wary of new characters, as it usually takes me a while to warm up to them, but she just piqued my interest immediately. Rey is self-sufficient, loyal, and willing to do the right thing though not without a bit of trepidation. She's highly relatable in an other-wordly sort of way. Plus, Daisy Ridley brought this character to life for me in ways I didn't expect. She played Rey just the right way. Kudos to JJ for casting an unknown because he hit a home run with Daisy and the rest of the new cast.

I could not believe, had I not already known it to be true, that this was her first big film role, she's such a natural at it. She's especially good at conveying so much emotion, and letting you know exactly what her character is thinking/feeling, using just body language and facial expressions.

Really there's no new character n this film that I flat-out dislike (well there is, but they're supposed to be unlikeable). So props to the film on that front.

 

Finn - is my top pick. Boyega really made the character seem human. Everything from the out of breath scenes to the I won't go down with out a fight finale. The way I see it here was the true hero of the movie.

Rey - you can't not love her. Ridley played an incredibly adorable part. I can't wait to see how they grow the character.

 

I would have thought that BB-8 would have been your favorite had acted .

 

Finn is the funniest guy in the star wars galaxy. " Yeah, I'm with the resistance"

 

No love for Hux?

I was near certain he was going to perish come the end episode 7. Like Tarkin in Ep.4

And now that he has broken out of his Grand Moff Tarkin 2.0 Cacoon, I'm really interested in seeing where his character goes from here.
