my fav moments are definitely, Luke in the hallway, seeing Bo-Katan again, seeing Ahsoka. really i loved seeing Mando meet all these different characters, and i loved seeing connections to tcw and rebels, as well as books i have read. but my overall fav is either, Luke in the hallway, or Ahsoka being ghostlike in the woods/

Yeah seeing past characters is awesome. Especially with the new technology that the show uses. AWESOME!

It's impossible to disagree with you. Both are awesome.

The Luke vs the hall full of those robotic super soldiers scene was Favreau and Filoni's opportunity to give Luke his own "Darth Vader Moment" from Rogue One. It should also be noted that the music by Ludwig Goransson added A LOT to an already-emotional scene. The whole ending segment was truly a cinematic masterpiece.

The Introduction of Ahsoka was also a classic. IMHO, that entire episode ranks right up there with ANH and ESB as the best SW of All Times. What made her introduction so breathtaking was: 1) the 'ghostlike quality' of Ahsoka that @dogs&coffee&starwars mentioned given her sleuth-like 'visible then invisible' attack on the soldiers in the mist; 2) how totally badass she was and how perfect she looked in live-action; and 3) how her right-off-the-bat appearance caught fans completely off-guard. We were all hoping she would show up sometime during the episode and instead, Filoni hit us with her straight away.

Both “introductions” to those characters were well put together. Ahsoka’s and Luke’s had an ominous feel. The music was great. An yeah, both did look good. Ahsoka in live action was better than expected. Luke looked amazing too

I completely agree with you, except for the part of how she looked in live-action. i thought they did a good job overall, but i noticed a couple of things that could us some help:
when togrutas grow and get older their face markings get more detailed, and yet her face markings were the same as they were when she was younger, i would have loved to see some more growth in her face markings. I know that I'm being very picky but things like that really do make the whole thing more in-depth.
this one is a bit more common, but her montrols and lekkus were not tall/long enough. i get that they wanted to make it easier for stunts and things, but i would have loved to see her with her full-length montrols.
again, I'm just being picky, i was still thrilled to see her in live-action.

One of the best moments in The Mandalorian -- and I would argue, in all of Star Wars -- was the cafeteria scene with Mando, Mayfield, and the Empire officer in S2:E7 "The Believer." This entire episode has grown and grown in my mind with each viewing. It was written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa and does a fantastic job of giving viewers a sense of what it's like to "be on the other side.". With all due respect to the actor who played Fin, we got a better sense of that in 30 minutes of this one Mandalorian episode than we did in the entire ST.

Yeah. I like how many perspectives we got to see with Mando. Empire, bounty hunter (solo), group work ect... But yeah this episode was great. I always loved when the protagonists are sneaking around enemy grounds. Plus. That was just an all around good episode. Great cgi and amazing scenes. Good points!

I caught a youtube video from watchmojo that listed their Top 10 moments from The Mandalorian Season 2 so I thought I'd share them here:

    10. One Good Turn Deserves Another. Pilots Trapper Wolf and Carson Tava save the day in The Passenger episode when Mando is in trouble on the ice spider planet and then they decline to arrest him because of his efforts to save one of their own (from the previous season).

    9. Cobb Vanth: From Page to Screen. The appearance of Cobb Vanth in Episode 9, The Marshal.

    8. The Dark Troopers Attack. The scene from The Tragedy when the third generation Dark Troopers kidnap Baby Grogu.

    7. Mayfield Snaps. The scene from The Believer episode that we just talked about.

    6. Spiders Everywhere! Another scene from Episode 10 where Mando, the Frog Lady, and Grogu try to escape a giant spider attack.

    5. Bo-Katan in the Flesh. Bo-Katan makes a surprise, live-action debut in this episode called The Heiress.

    4. The Battle with the Krayt Dragon. We finally see a living Krayt Dragon and watch how Mando and Cobb are able to destroy it in the episode called The Marshal.

    3. Boba Fett Cuts Loose, We finally see the fabled bounty hunter in all his menacing glory in The Tragedy.

    2. Ahsoka Tano. 'nuff said. :)

    1. The Return of THE Jedi. The return of Luke Skywalker AND the tearful good-bye between Grogu and Din are both mentioned in the episode The Rescue.

I personally love Bo-Katan, she has such a strong personality compared to her sister, and is overall badass. I think I was much happier to see her than boba. i would do krayt dragon in 5th, then boba, then Bo-Katan, then Ahsoka, then luke. I was so happy to see my favorite strong female protagonists (Bo-Katan and Ahsoka) again, and i was very surprised that Ahsoka and Bo-Katan were in contact after all those years. I'm assuming they were in contact because Bo-Katan send Mando and grogu to ahsoka. i would love to see one of my favorite trios (ahsoka, bo-katan, and rex) back together again during the ahsoka series.

I like katan too. She brings a lot to Mandalore. And she has a cool fighting style. Really neat to get her in mando.

She's also very ambitious, which is something you don't see a lot. she will do anything for Mandalore and is very loyal. she is loyal to Mandalore to a fault. I'm honestly surprised more people haven't used that fault to take over mandelore. she also is the opposite of Satine, which makes me want to know more about their upbringing, and how they became such opposites; all satine cares about is the public view, and all Bo-Katan cares about is Mandalore dominance and pride. I'm an American so I see lots of made in the USA as in USA pride, and honestly, if Bo-Katan sold something like clothes or something, I would be surprised if she said made in Mandalore and stuff. and in American schools, you say the pledge of allegiance every day, and if Mandalore has a pledge I wouldn't be surprised if Bo-Katan says it every day.

You make a good point their. She is very loyal. That can be seen on CW. Thanks for bringing that to my attention actually. She is indeed ambitious which is also a good word to describe here fighting. Very elusive and ambitious if that makes sense. I might have to rewatch those episodes:p

It's hard to choose and my avatar can give me away but from Season 2 anything with Bo-Katan, especially the moment she rescues Mando (which is pretty much a nod to the time when he was rescued by the Watch when he was little, it was telegraphed!) also Ahsoka Tano in live action was freaking amazing, same with Boba, I think seeing them in live action just expanded these characters but without taking the focus from Mando and Grogu, I felt as if the story was enhanced.

From Season 1 I can tell Gideon was a standout, of course when Mando met The Child and also the deaths of Kuili and IG-11 were really emotional.

When Bo-Katan came out of nowhere to save Mando, i was in shock. A good kind of shock. I had thought about other mandalorians being in the show, but not Katan. A surprise to be sure. But a welcome one.

    Very perceptive! Thanks for sharing.

One of the interesting character arcs for Mando that began with the Bo-Katan episode was the evolution of his 'keep your helmet on' creed. At the beginning, Mando immediately rejected Bo-Katan and her crew as 'not Mandalorians' (despite the fact she'd just saved his rear end) because they...gasp!...took off their helmets!!! But by the end of the episode, when Bo-Katan gave him a farewell greeting with the traditional, "This is the Way," Din acknowledged it as if he were replying to one of his own from the Watch.

Over the course of his interactions with the Night Owls in the episode, Mando's "worldview" had gotten flipped entirely upside down. Mando's continuing evolution regarding what it means to be Mandalorian will be fascinating to watch come Season 3.

Great point. I love how movies and shows do that kind of thing. Mando meet Katan and her crew and at first didn’t like them. Later, respect is gained. I love the Mandolorian Creed and this stuff just adds on to what people love about it.

You're welcome! I like how that first contact starts cracking his bubble of beliefs and we see him shedding little by little his armour, and then his helmet in front of others, first again under duress (while he needs to show his face to the Imperial device) and then by own choice, to say good-bye to his adopted son. It's quite a growth for Din to go from "I can bring you warm, or I can bring you cold" to "he means more to me that you'll ever know".

And of course for all of us who are aware who Bo-Katan is, we even react like "are you serious?" when Din treats them like that when they just saved him! I am really looking forward to see how the issue of the Darksaber will transpire between them, because both characters are really interesting and really looking forward which path they will follow.
