I'll have to go with TPM. Qui-Gon, Jedi apprentice Kenobi, Darth Maul, Duel of the Fates. It has major issues, but I genuinely enjoy it more than the others.

However, the ROTS novelization is a masterpiece and should be read by every SW fan.

I would say that the ROTS novelisation is the only decent literary adaptation of a Star Wars film. I'm not sure I would call it a "masterpiece", though; that's a pretty lofty term to use but then again it would depend on what you're comparing it to, really.

I personally like ROTS best, because I really enjoyed it. The action scenes were all great and there were some really great scenes in general. I also liked TPM, just not as much. I've never really liked AOTC that much, but I still get plenty of enjoyment out of it. I know that many don't like the prequels, but I personally really enjoy them.

Over time, I began to "enjoy" and I use that word loosely "The Phantom Menace". "Revenge of the Sith" completely ruined Vader, it tied into the original trilogy spreading it's cancerous horrible dialogue, and prequel bullsh*t into the era we all know and love. The Phantom Menace, has lots and lots of hate pored into it, the expectations of the audience when the movie debut in theaters was too high. Models, and puppets were still being used in TPM, not all that "mid 2000's" CGI garbage that I couldn't care less about. All the pod racers, most of the droids, and aliens, sets of Tatooine, were actually built by people, not 100% of the move was CGI. Even though TPM had bland characters like the other two prequels, at least it felt like it was a fun adventure/journey. Rots, who cares if it was "dark", it doesn't make the movie any more enjoyable imo lol.

I dont agree, at least on the RotS part.

edit: I wanted to give you a "Disagree/clouded" but then I realized you had a +505 / 0 / -0 and I really dont want to be that guy who "ruins your flawless ratings"

After watching TCW, ROTS remains being my fave of them three.

I'm not a really big fan of the previous two, I can enjoy them but I would have definitely changed the timeline so we could have learned more about the clones, Ahsoka, Satine, etc (I know, they were later additions but one can dream LOL).

Naw, it's cool. If you disagree, ya disagree. I couldn't care less about my record :p. Could be a phase, ignoring jar jar, and Anakin completely, and looking at the actual good stuff in TPM, It felt like there was some passion, and effort was put into the movie by the costume and set designers, much like the original three. Rots was a bunch of cgi rooms with lifeless sets. The Clone wars is the best prequel series, rebels is pretty cool too. The prequel trilogy is pretty bottom tier compared to those two animated series.

Gonna have to go with EpIII. Best CGI, best acting, overall better dialogue, higher stakes.

    Phantom Menace (1999 Theatrical Release)
Because it made nerds who went to see TPM wearing full stormtrooper costumes look like disappointed idiots after they had seen it.

I had to go with Episode I. For basically one reason, Darth Maul. Maul is the best Sith outside of Vader and Palpatine. The actor did his own stunts, making that lightsaber duel the best of all the movies. Qui-gon was pretty cool too.

Well for me RotS is my favorite of the three. I am not a huge fan of the prequels as films overall but I love what they brought to the Star Wars universe.

    TPM- C-
    AotC- D
    RotS- C+
