Favorite Scene from the Original Star Wars Trilogy

My bad, I didn't see anyone else reply to answer it so I thought was a genuine question, still a good joke I try to forget about him but members here always tend to remind me.

There are so many "wow" moments in the Original Trilogy, I can't pick my favorite, but I have narrowed it down these these five scenes:

1) When Luke goes crazy and chops down Vader after the threat of persuading Leia to join the dark side.
2) Vader's big reveal on Cloud City.
3) Luke's big reveal to Leia in the Ewok village about their true family relationship.
4) The Dagobah cave scene.
5) When Obi Wan Kenobi goes "poof" after Vader strikes him down.

As you can tell from this list, I am big on pivotal moments, scenes revealing truth, and the mythical nature of the Force. That is why I loved the Prequels so much; because they added more detail to these scenes (example: why was Leia's mother "sad?) and made me enjoy the OT even more.

A few of my top favorites (In no particular order)

- TIE Fighter attack from ANH (after they escape the Death Star)
- Rescuing Leia from Detention Block AA-23 "We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?"
- Vader looking for Luke and taunting him about turning Leia to the Dark Side
- Vader choking Admiral Ozzel
- Luke leaving Dagobah in ESB (love the dialogue in that scene)

 

When Yoda lifted the X-Wing. At that moment, the Force became something bigger than just choking people.

This is probably my most favorite SW scene not only in the OT but in all the SW movies so far...

 

Vader's death scene always resonated with me right from the get-go. With the new perspective given to it by the prequels, it is now my favourite scene in the saga.

 

The scene in Empire when Luke meets Vader in the Carbon Freezing chamber. Never was there a more perfect scene shot, lit, or otherwise executed. I watch it at least once a month. It may be my favorite scene of any movie ever.

1. I love it. Its got my favourite character (R2-D2) in my favourite location (Lars Homestead) on my favourite planet (Tatooine) in my favourite Star Wars film.

I like a lot of scenes from the OT, particularity ESB and ROTJ, but I'd say my favorites from each movie would have to be:
-ANH: Luke Blows Up The Death Star (The first one, to be specific)
-ESB: Luke VS. Vader/"No, I Am Your Father"
Battle of Hoth
-ROTJ: Luke VS. Vader (Round 2)/I Am A Jedi/ Vader's Redemption/Anakin's Death
The Force Is Strong In My Family

Yeah... I'm not good at choosing...

 

For me, it's the cantina in Mos Eisley. That's when I first truly fell in love with Star Wars.
That scene with all the aliens and how dirty it was...

Almost forgot how whiney Luke was.

 

Yep, right guy for the job.

 

GMGM always steals my thunder, that is why he has the title "Grand Master".

Since I am a military guy, my favorite scenes from the OT all have a military/battle flavor

(By the way, this is the first scene ever in SW to show the mighty X and Y wings!!)

1. Yavin-4 hangar prep, launch, form-up, all the way through the trench run - best scene ever in all of SW. "All Wings Report In....."......and of course, my namesake quote "Lock S Foils in attack position". Hey @PongSolo , at approx the 47 second to 55 second point on the video below - sure sounds a lot like a JFS start in an F-15, what do you think? Did this scene have anything to do with your current career choice?

2. Attack on Death Star II in ROTJ......goosebumps as Lando gets to make the iconic call "All Wings Report In".....and then the best pilot in the Galaxy, Wedge Antilles, reports in as "Red Leader standing by...". X Wings , Y Wings, A Wings, B Wings.....as I call it "The Alphabet Battle".....just AWESOME!

3. Battle of Hoth.....until R1 the finest ground action in all of SW.
