The scene where Luke turns himself in on Endor and is talking with Vader before going up to meet the Emperor. Something so poignant about that, as if Luke is almost convincing Vader, but it's too late for Vader to change now

As a father of 4 I appreciate Vader's act so much more than I did in 1983. I kinda felt cheated by Luke's in action as an 11 year old. As I have rewatched these films into my adulthood, that one sceen with Vader has so much more meaning. The end of the RoTJ has grown on me so much over the years, it is one of my favorite parts of the trilogy.

The OT feels so much more like Tolkin's LOTRs than the Prequal/Current Trilogy which feel more like comic books. The OT was an epic journey exploring deep philosophical issues of good and evil. Everything since has been less emotional, more action and much more nuanced. That is why nothing has compared to the OT.

Take the once scene with Yoda describing the Force to Luke. That 30 seconds between Luke and Yoda was far better and more emotional than anything we have seen in TFA and TLJ.

The first lightsaber duel with Vader and Luke. One of my favorite moments in any Star Wars movie.

My favorite scene was when the Bounty Hunters were first introduced. It made for some cool theory's on Dengar, Bossk, and IG-88. I haven't seen a theory for Zuckess however.

For me, it is the fight father against son with this epic choir music. Only problem: This special music comes to short...

(Maybe anyone can help me: I wanted to say, "dass die Musik zu kurz einsetzt", but don't know the correct words for it...)

It's totally the Binary Sunset from A New Hope. The scenery, score, and power of the moments gives me chills every time.

How did you feel about them switching up the scene in the remastered version?

What about the battle of Hoth? That was EPIC!!! The rebels were beaten hollow by the powerful empire.

All of The Empire Strikes Back from beginning to end. I watched it again two nights ago and was amazed the whole time. But I’ll pick a top three:

    1. Luke/Vader battle on Cloud City
    2. ALL of Hoth
    3. Han and Leia on the MF
    Peak cinema

I have to say it is the last scene with Anakin alive. His conversation with Luke and him taking off his own helmet is just amazing.

My favorite scene was in the Empire Strikes Back, when Rogue Two and the other Snowspeeders come roaring over the hills. "Echo Base, I've got something, not much but it could be a life form."

*Snowspeeders are my favorite vehicle in the Star Wars universe.

Everything. For me, all of them are perfect. Every frame is wonderful.

But if I have to choose, doing a big effort, I would choose this masterpiece.

"No...I am a jedi. Like my father before me"

I am sure most can imagine the scene.

Raising the X-Wing and the accompanying lesson is my favorite scene altogether in any film.

Igniting the green for the first time.

The opening scene of Star Wars.

    The Throne Room.

    Twin Suns.

The Falcon turning back to rescue Luke in Empire.

Han coming back "You're all clear kid, let's blow this thing and go home".

    Yoda's twilight.

    Final Scene of Empire.

    Threepio story time.

    Han and Leia's kiss.
