    OMG hard to decide....

    "Who talks first?"
    Rey fighting with the staff.
When the MF appears, and the nod to the Asteroid Field scene in ESB on the way Rey flies towards the insides of the Star Destroyer.
    "Chewie, we are home!".
Threepio ruining the Han and Leia moment, as always.
    Leia's scene after Han's death.
Leia and Rey's hug (don't really care what you say, JJ!)

I think that one that I also liked was when Kylo & Hux are vying for Snoke's attention in the cavern thing and Huc gives Kylo a smug look lol.

A lot of great ones here but because I didn't see it mentioned yet, I'll add when Han says to Finn "Did you just call me Solo?" Then Finn says: "Han. Mr. Solo" but refers to him as simply Solo for the rest of the movie.

I think Han's "I like this guy" talking about Finn when they are discussing breaking into Starkiller was really well delivered as well. Very convincing.

As far as scenes (as opposed to lines), the escape from Jakku in the Falcon. The lightsaber fight, particularly when Rey pulls the lightsaber out, really emotional for me. Rey's reaction to Han's death is the part of that scene that gets me the most emotional. Basically things that Rey does get me emotional.

"Listen, Big Deal. You've got another problem. Women always figure out the truth."

My favorite scene is probably Kylo Ren talking to the Vader helmet, because you see just how insecure Ren really is. He acts detached for the first half of the film, but you can tell the entire time that he's a conflicted character who's afraid and insecure. That scene also made me realize just how much Vader was presented as having things "together," at least in A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back (he was wavering for a lot of Return of the Jedi, really, especially in light of the Emperor being shown as the real man in charge). But in Empire, Vader just oozed a certain "lack of attachments" and an unwavering presence that asserted itself full force when he entered the room. And TFA was what really made me see that, because however much he wanted to, Kylo Ren didn't.

Well I'd like to add that one of the things (one of the few things probably) that the Force Awakens did _better_ than the OT was giving the villain/protaganist depth and development early in the trilogy. What I mean is I think we already know more or about as much about Kylo Ren as we did Vader through the first two movies in the OT. And by "know" I mean not history but more knowing what they are about emotionally, personality wise, intellectually, etc. I mean Vader's portrayal was amazing from the start but there wasn't as much depth to him early on as there is to Kylo. But yeah I guess that's sort of the point in a way, Vader's just a more straightforward bad guy.

when i still see people complaining about Kylo Ren as a villain (he's got grandaddy issues, he's a wanna-be, tantrum-throwing emo whatever), i think: that's the point, people. for all his power, he's just a scared, angry kid. and yes, technically, he's not a child physically, but he most certainly is emotionally.

Abrams has said time and again that these are characters in the process of awakening/becoming. Kylo Ren is ostensibly becoming the villain people expect, but he's not there yet in TFA by design.

i for one hope that he never gets there--and if he has to, that he can still come back.

I don't know about my favorite, but I know what is my least favorite. When Kylo removes his mask and talks in this whiney voice. It was a let down for my whole family.

Oh, I agree, the state of Kylo Ren right now does give us a better look at his character and make him more "real," as it were. I was just noting the contrast for what it was.

Definitely Rey's lightsaber pull. Still tugs at the heart when I watch it.

Agreed, no way Finn could've pulled off that move.

Which scene is my favourite scene? Well, for me it isn't easy to answer this question. While I - also as a big fan of TFA - I have to say that the story of TFA was - at some points - a little bit too "fluffy", JJA has the ability to bring "magic" into the scenes, when you understand, what I mean. Here is a little selection of the scenes I think of:

    - the first time we see Han and Chewie (only problem: In the first trailer this scene was even more awesome)
    - the first time we see Leia (I really LOVE the Leia-Theme, but also the Leia-Han-Romance-Theme)
    - the last sequence, when Rey literally takes the steps to Luke (again, a wonderful music theme and goose bumps)
    - the interrogation scene with Ben and Rey (don't know if this phrase exists in the englisch language, but in Germany I would - of course, translated - say, that, you could cut the air with a knife)

When I look at this list, many of my favourite scenes are connected to the "old heroes". And while I was texting, I was able to choose my favourite scene: Han's and Leia's reunion. This little scene - with Leia's surprising-but-not-so-surprising appearance, the wonderful music, the C3PO-joke - describes the heart of TFA.

Rey getting the lightsaber in the forest. It's the music that does it for me the most

I really liked that the Stormtroopers called Air Support when chasing Rey and Finn and BB8 on Jakku....

This is hard to answer, tbh, but if I have to pick one, I'm going with the scene where Kylo Ren interrogates Rey. It hits all my buttons- great dialogue, great acting, a big reveal, etc.
