Favorite Scene

I hope not to be too rude:
I've thinking about it a few days, and finally I'll tell you. Please, use dots (.), commas (,), and other punctuation marks. People will better understand you and will thank you for that, specially people like me which don't have English as our native language.

FYI, not understanding many of your previous posts is the reason why I tagged some of them as "Clouded".
And please, don't take it as anything personal. There are some others users whose posts are sometimes hardly understandable for not using punctuation marks

 

I understand now who is keeping track of punctuation, with good reason anyway lets get back to this thread.

 

Some scenes that come to mind that haven't been mentioned;

The scene where Darth Vader helplessly watches the Falcon jump into hyperdrive was always spine tingling for me. Like he had them right where he wanted them. The 2nd most powerful man in the universe and he couldn't capture them.

The scene in ESB where Luke takes down the Imperial Walker on Hoth.

ANH:

Vader's iconic first entrance.

The War Room Scene ("I find your lack of faith disturbing.)

Luke and the binary sunset.

Iconic exchange between Threepio and Artoo in the desert.

Vader confronting Leia and Leia giving it right back to him.

Luke and Obiwan from the gift of Anakin's lightsaber to the discovery of Owen's and Beru's corpses.

Chewy's chess game with Artoo "Let the Wookiee Win"

Han: "There's no problem. Everything's Under control. how are you?" *BLAM* "Boring conversation anyway. Chewy, we're gonna have company!"

ESB:

OMG, just the whole film.

Luke uses the Force to cut himself down.

Luke and Vader. Just the whole thing, but of course especially "You are not a Jedi yet" and the Big Reveal scene. Another Landmark.

ROTJ:

The Rancor's keeper weeping at its death. Somebody loved it too!

Iconic moments in Western Culture: Vader's redemption, death and funeral, attended only by Luke as everyone else partied. Kinda sad and cold, in a way.

I liked Lucas's revised celebration scene, even though I sat through Yub Yub 37 times!

 

This is my favorite scene of all time.

 

Gah from 1:45 to 2:25 I'm convinced is the most captivating 40 seconds of film in history. Hard to beat that scene

 

Well the father reunion is always memorable. Good pick

 

My favorite scene is the asteroid scene in Empire.The music,the flying,everything.my second favorite is the Battle of Hoth.

 

I always knew the falcon would make the asteroid run, it was good to see ATAT walkers in action.

 

It's a very small moment, and @ThePurloinedFowl mentioned it above, but the scene where Han has to get on the comm, and says, "We're all fine here...how are you?" The look of pain on his face as he realizes how stupid that sounded still makes me smile when I think about it. It always reminds me of the Raiders scene where a very tired Indy shoots the badass swordsman rather than fight him (as most of you probably know, Ford suggested that bit because it was hot as hell, he was worn out and--I believe--had a nasty case of dysentery on top of everything).

The Stormtrooper-Han-on-the-comm scene is so small and so funny and feels so off-the cuff in a saga not exactly known for light dialog. It reinforces why Han will always be my favorite character, and what a natural actor Harrison Ford can be (when he wants to be). In my heart of hearts I really hope we get this Harrison Ford in TFA.

Oh, and honorable mention for favorite scene(s): Ever since I was a kid, I've loved the massive space battle in Return of the Jedi. I'm a sucker for dogfights, especially when they involve starfighters, Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb.
