I have yet to see Solo but I doubt it'll beat The Last Jedi. I absolutely adore it and cannot wait when I'll be able to watch it back at home (just two more weeks!).

To me Rogue One is transcendent, so it's at the top.

Solo is not far behind it, and was the most fun I've had at a Star Wars movie in ages.

Next is Force Awakens, which was also fun.

Finally, The Last Jedi, which I had a pretty negative reaction to (relatively speaking- I dig all Star Wars), but which I think may grow on me.

The battle of Scarif is the most epic space battle in the saga.

Rogue One. Hands down. Didn't like TFA at all really. The Last Jedi has grown on me. Have yet to see Solo (going tomorrow)!

This is really tough as I am a HUGE R1 fan.....I have to see SOLO a couple more times.

But if forced to rate right now I will say R1 is my favorite but extremely close behind is SOLO. Then TLJ and TFA.

    Last Jedi
    Rogue One

    The Force Awakens

    Solo

Not a bum in the line up as far as I'm concerned but Solo is my clear least favorite in this group and I dug it a fair bit and want more out of both this era and those characters.

My favorite is Solo, surprisingly. Compared to the other three, it is quite self contained and yet, it opens the door for many possibilities down the line. It is also the first movie in a while that doesn't focus on the Rebels/Resistance storyline, which I'm personally starting to get a little sick of. I was somewhat bored for the first half of the movie when I saw it for the first time, but on second viewing, I had fun all the way through.

I do like all four of these films (I know, blasphemy!) and I'd rank them like so:
    1. Solo
    2. RO/TLJ (can't decide which I like better at the moment)
    3. TFA

    1. Rogue One: Despite its slow start Rogue One had an impressive cast, good story, great designs and exceptional recreating of the Original trilogy feel and aesthetic. The final act of R1 is damn near impossible to top. The most impressive battle in the saga and the deaths make it feel more realistic than Star Wars has ever felt. It also succeeded in making background characters deaths feel important, General Merrick and the rest of Blue Squadron, the various R1 ground troops, the poor Rebels in the Vader scene. Its also featured a decent villain made great by a great actor and performance. The recreation of Peter Cushing was phenomenal coupled with the tremendous voice work of Steve Stanton made it an amazing moment and Carrie Fishers was also good (I really don't get the hate over these two). It was amazing at bridging the trilogies with Jimmy Smits returning and getting Genevieve O'Reily to finally get to appear on screen as Mon Mothma. The various alien designs were really great. The score was lacking and it wasted some great actors like Mads and Forest. It also featured my second least favorite line in all of Star Wars with Vader's pun.

    2. Force Awakens: Despite all the unoriginality of the plot I found TFA to be a great jumping off point for a new trilogy. Despite some notable character flaws all were played well enough and the retuning Harrison Ford was as great as always. Carrie was great in the little she was in. I feel like there were really great moments that were ruined by the fact that there wasn't enough context, like Han's death. The scene itself was great but without really knowing Ben the scene loses a lot of the weight and its resting entirely on the shoulders of Ford. Finn was the most unique new character and because of that I liked him the most (I also found Boyega to be the best of the new actors in TFA). I left the movie pretty happy and excited for 8, and if 8 was great I could excuse the faults of TFA since at least it set up some cool stuff (boy was I wrong). Score was a bit disappointing if I'm honest and in hindsight only having Luke in the end (and ending on a cliffhanger) was a mistake. A lot of the new alien designs felt lazy to me. The Rathnar scene was terrible, felt like a scene from JJ's Trek movies that was repurposed into Star Wars.

    3. Solo: For a movie that I initially wasn't too keen on having I was ecstatic once they fired Lord and Miller and Ron Howard was brought on. I was surprised by Alden and Donald Glover's Han and Lando and was really happy that they actually felt like the characters. With the exception of L3, I loved every character and definitely want more of them. I don't think Emilia Clarke is a good actress but she did great as Qi'Ra. Score was better but still suffered in some areas. For a last minute replacement Paul Bettany was brilliant. Chewie finally getting more of the spotlight. MAUL! Despite its box office I really hope there is a sequel. Thandie Newton was wasted. The Kessel Run could have been explained better. All in all I left the theater extremely satisfied.

    4. TLJ: I still can't believe how much I hated this movie. On the good side, the acting was all fine and in some cases good/great, and the effects were great (except for Leia's space scene). Almost everything story-wise was absolutely terrible. The new characters were horrendous and the movie severely damaged some of the retuning ones. Really bad dialogue, specifically the worst line in all of Star Wars "I can do the speak." I had never left the theater so saddened and depressed, it actually felt like a friend had died. All the humor was bad (except for Luke's messing with Rey meditating). Score was more of the same from TFA, not bad but disappointing. I don't think they should have done the Yoda puppet, I get why they did it but it didn't look good in the end. Screw the porgs, dumber than the Ewoks (which i don't mind as much as others). Completely and utter waste of two Oscar nominees: Laura Dern and Benecio Del Toro. Designs were really weak, none of the new alien designs stuck out to me and the Canto Bight guests designs were uninspired (I did like the Canto Bight police/security designs). Not just my least favorite of the Disney era but of all the movies.

    1. TFA (Action packed with the return of our heroes).
    2. SOLO (Fun filled adventure of my favourite character).
    3. R1 (Gritty war adventure).
    4. TLJ (Disjointed sequel, crap story with some amazing acting).

    1) TFA (it's about the characters, not the story)
    2) TLJ
    3) SOLO (even though it made more fun than TLJ, it didn't really give much to the audience to work with)
    4) R1 (visually stunning, the remaining stuff was meh)

I think EPIX will rank after TFA and before TLJ. Hopefullly... Haha!

Loved Rogue 1 but it's a very limited movie since we all know the outcome.

Solo is an entertaining movie but lacks story, plot, action and development.

So this this leaves TLJ and TFA as the strong contenders, though call since they both are the same movie, but TFA holds up better overall simply because TLJ has to many plot holes and the SUPER underuse of the great Luke Skywalker kinda kills it for me.

BUT i really liked them all, Disney can keep giving me a Star Wars Movie a Year without a single complain from my part!
