Favorite visual moments from TFA

There are A LOT of spectacular moments, but if I have to choose one visual moment, I choose this EPIC badassery:

 

The blue and red flashes on white during the Rey vs Kylo fight were amazing.

 

Yeah, me too!

JJ said that he would like to see a Knights of Ren spin-off, even if we see them in Episode VIII, I think everyone would love to see how Kylo fell to the dark side.

I think they have their own personal weapons, because Kylo made his own lightsaber and the other knights don't seem to have one.

 

TFA has so far the most beautiful scenes of the entire saga, including the OT.

Some of my favorites:

- Rey standing in front of the star destroyer/slinding down the sand dune;
- Kylo Ren staring that big red ray shot of SK base;
- Tie figthers a la Apocalypse Now;
- Han and Ben on the brigde;
- Panoramic view of Luke and Rey and the finale.

 

As others have said, the winter forest backdrop made for an awesome lightsaber fight. I also liked the nighttime Jakku in the opening scene, along with the interior shots of the Finalizer, simply because modern, crisp cinematography makes Star Destroyers look awesome.

 

Finn's head popping up on Jakku (which is also in the trailer, but it's still a great moment), Poe taking out Stormtroopers like a BOSS on Takodana, Finn igniting the Skywalker Lightsaber on Starkiller Base before facing off against Kylo Ren, Kylo Ren igniting his lightsaber for his temper tantrum (both scenes were hilarious), seeing the snow melt and steam off of Kylo's lightsaber on Starkiller Base, Rey's fear when Kylo had the lightsaber at her neck at Takodana, the Millennium Falcon's "flip" to take out the TIE fighter. The whole movie basically...

 

Rey closing her eyes and using the force. Rey and Finn running toward the Falcon. Han and Leia meeting again... that awkward moment. Ray calling Kylo Ren a monster that look on her face. Rey reading Kylo Ren's mind and saying ur afraid. Rey and Luke meeting that final shot...

According to me, all the scenes where Kylo Ren ignites his lightsaber, Rey's first scene (when she was scavenging and when we see her in front of the Star Destroyer with a fantastic background music), the chase with the Falcon, Hux's speech in front of the troopers, Kylo Ren watching the red ray from the Starkiller Base (with the music all the Starkiller scene is magnificent!), the arrival of the Falcon in the Starkiller base, the bridge scene, all the final duel (the steam merged with the snow, the blue and red light on Rey's and Kylo's faces, the breach...) and the final scene where beautiful.
Actually, all the movie was a visual masterpiece!

The Force Awakens really is a beautiful film to look at. Before watching it, I thought nothing could approach the beauty (IMHO) of Christopher Nolan's cinematography, but this film proved me wrong.

 

TFA got so many beautiful shots/moments, too many to choose from...
