John Williams was fantastic in every era but I think he peaked in the prequels. Duel of the Fates proves John Williams is secretly a Jedi Master of Music.

I agree. He built a name for himself with the OT and then just took off with the prequels. Not gonna lie, Anakin’s Dark Deeds is a musical masterpiece.

The chorus of Duel of the Fates still gets me every time. I heard it for the first time seeing TPM in theaters and I still remember that feeling I got when hearing it: unmistakably Star Wars but somehow more “raw” more “unknown” (if that makes any sense. john Williams had once described the melody as being from a “pagan”era.)
I also like the music in Solo. Qi’ra’s theme had a sweeping 1930s love-song that fits very well. Enfys Nest also has, like Duel of the Fates, that same “raw” different element from Duel of the Fates.
I like the frantic pacing of the Astroid Field song from TESB.
You might think I’m crazy, but I would like to have an actual song in a Star Wars film, yes, a pop tune, words and all. It can be something as simple as a song sung in a nightclub or bar (think of that part from Solo), but sung in “basic” (english.)

I'm also gonna go with Asteroid Field. Followed by Escape from Cloud City/Hyperspace and Imperial March.

Love theme from ESB is mine, hands down. I remember my mum and dad buying the soundtrack for me for my birthday; played it full blast, bedroom windows open wide, all through the summer. Happy memories...
