    we all know that Finn may be a force user in this trilogy so what is his last name Rey may be a Solo because she acts JUST like Han but to me Finn is more Luke like(or even like Kyle Katarn form the EU)

    Good thread but I think you should have more options in the poll. For example, Calrissian (Even though I don't think he's his father). I know other people may believe that though and it is more variety.

    I've resigned myself to the idea that we are not finding out this episode but for the record my guess is Windu. Even if he is not a direct descendant of Mace if he is of the same clan and an orphan from planet Korun all the inhabitants of Mace homeworld were force sensitive...presuming Mace backstory is still canon.

    Seriously, though, I like the idea that we will never know his real name, first or last, and he will have to make his own name rather than relying on his past. I voted "a new last name" but don't want to have it revealed. At least not for a long time. I do believe the most likely candidate is Zare Leonis (or he is at least his nephew).
    The seed for First Order troopers being born into it was planted in a Zare book and was tied to an ancestor of Hux. And Zare's sister is Force Sensitive and was kidnapped to be a potential Inquisitor. She was rescued in the end though.

    I'm fairly certain he doesn't have one to begin with. But if he were to become a Skywalker or Solo through adoption or as a way to honor his friends, I'd really find that neat.

    I feel this too.
    However, my question is this true for rey, finn, or both?
    I keep thinking that rey may be a "no one" as the marketing is leading us to believe.
    The question is if disney would bank $4 billion on a hero with no true familial tie to luke skywalker...

    It is a puzzle.
    And i think we will leave the theatre on december 18 with very few clues...

    As someone said earlier - there are 3 movies and they have to leave some powder dry for episodes 8 and 9.
