    I dont know, but according to most leaks she has force abilities and knowledge of things... Although many people are inexplicably hostile to the idea that she is a jedi, if she is one... her having an skywalker flag might not be totally strange.

    I'm somewhat curious to wonder where you stand on the 'positive ratings received in 24 hours' list. I'm also curious about the single "disagree" rating.

    Anyways, excellent thread and finds. You took the comments here of "I wonder if those flags mean anything, I heard they have pod racing flags there" and really hammered it. And I love the style you chose to indicate them, so easy to locate them this way.

    I'm assuming just easter eggs, but... at the same time they seem to be overall criminal/underground related... Even the pod racing flags could be considered as such since they happened under the eye of Jabba the Hutt, maybe?..

    Could imply Maz's place as being a sort of "safe spot" or even something as great as a type of UN for various pirate factions in a possible era of Imperial crackdown post-Republic.

    EDIT: And actually, considering those we can count as "confirmed", it has an overall Hutt feel to it, with Boba and Weequays (like those in the Ohnaka Gang) working for Jabba for example.

    If it is his, It could be a symbol of Skywalkers' original world mybe? It is explained In TCW that they were first enslaved by Zygerrians, so I suppose they aren't native to Tatooine.
    But don't think it is a symbol of Skywalker family, because as slaves, they wouldn't be permited something like that. Perhaps it is related to Watto, maybe Toydaria?

    It's good to see people excited about Prequel Trilogy stuff. I watched "The Phantom Menace" last night and it grows on me more and more every year.

    I just love how J.J. found a way to incorporate the PT..........

    I'm honored to have as many positive ratings as I've gotten so far - part of me wishes it would go all the way up to 100 'Great Post's just for the OCD in me :p
    I'd love to have whatever recognition is due my efforts if it really is as noteworthy as it seems, but I'm also just happy to have my obsessed search get the feedback it has so far! :)

    I actually was only pointed out that there may be a mandalorian symbol; that got me looking up all kinds of logos, and I started with criminal groups first but I kept hitting big whenever I looked at podracer stuff so that was the most interesting reveal for me!

    Well at least in Legends, podracing was quickly made illegal (and was presumably already illegal in more developed worlds) so I think it's totally fair to conflate it with criminal behavior, much like with cokcfighting or street racing.

    So i havent read all the 4 pages so far but what im hoping for here is.. Han wants these 2 to be trained as jedi and he wants Luke to do it BUT he doesnt know where Luke is... So Lets hire the best tracker/hunter he knows... Fett. to find him... thoughts?

    Hard to imagine there still not being a bit of a grudge, but could be possible! So far all the rumors seem to be that he already knows Maz though. Maybe Maz knows Fett?

    What Grudge... Fett was paid to hunt solo... he was a job, he got paid for the job too.... at the start of ROTJ solo had no bounty on him.. Fetts attck on the barge was only under Jabba's orders...

    Ziro the Hutt's symbol is basically a very ornate version of the Black Sun symbol; he's actually a vigo for the Black Sun so essentially they are represented here either by proxy or directly.

    Could just be a reference to how famous he may have gotten in pod racing circles, it would be a big deal when a 10 year old human boy upsets one of the top pros of pod racing in one of the biggest pod racing events around. People love Cinderella stories in sports, I'm sure the same holds true in the SW universe. Additionally, if Maz is force sensitive and a pod racing fan, it makes sense that she might be interested in the exploits of young Anakin Skywalker.
