    It does seem weird, but I believe someone in this thread had actually posed the thought that, since Anakin and his mom were technically slaves, the flag itself could have been representative of his owners like Watto or something like that, which would still be more-or-less connected to illicit activities.

    I almost wonder if it's something like a sponsorship or something. I don't think they ever really went into all that did they? In fact I never noticed there even were pod racing flags until this thread pointed it out to me. :p

    Great find. Those types of things are wonderful. It'll be nice to see an actual bombardment take place.

    I think I'll have to do quite a bit more analysis to deserve -another- 100 haha!

    Makes sense! Would give a very Darth Malak feel to Kylo. It would have to be once they escape of course since Kylo supposedly wants the lightsaber intact.

    I had no idea they just handed out those blue tags :eek:

    Aye! I'm sure there's sports memorabilia stores as well in the outer rim. These are probably not THE flags flown at the Boonta Eve Classic of 32 BBY, but probably recreations sold to spectators and collectors.

    only thread o the week this is at least thread of the month. The amount of work that went in to the initial detection work is jus astounding (it also bodes well for the filmif they add that many potential Easter eggs in to the on scene then how many other will be sunk into the whole film)
