    I really wanted to see an England v. France final. Kinda like foes of old back at it. But England simply didn't do enough to win that. It's a fair result. Such a shame.

    I am glad Croatia reached the final. I like France but they already had won the world cup in 1998. So I hope Croatia will win this time.

    Watched Croatia Win last night with the Serbia Handball National Squad and i was the only one cheering!

    France has the better team, the best players but i still hope for a Croatia win and waiting for a Mbappe historical performance. If it gets to Penalty Shotout then Croatia is favorite because Subasic is a monster penalty stoper.

    I hope it’s a good game & not to one sided (If Croatia platy as well as they did in there group game & at points last night) it should be also I really want Mbappe to get at least 1 goal.

    Well we are the 4th best team at the World Cup. The FIFA Rankings are unfortunately a bit more complex will England be in the top 10 the next update due on 19th July very probably I don’t think however we will be ranked 4th the same goes for France & Croatia even if they win I don’t think either one will get the number 1 ranking. Also Germany despite going out at the group stage are unlikely to be out side the top 10.

    Are they?

    is that English supporters on here or ones you have met (Welsh, Scottish & to a lesser extent NI supporters will obviously have a different opinion) & I don’t know why as this is there best performance at a World Cup for 28 years did they get a bit lucky with the draw yes but to do well in a World Cup you need a bit of luck.

    I was not complaining about the fourth place finish as it was considerably better than the 28 lesser placed teams who took part in this 32 team World Cup tournament.

    Clearly you don't know the difference betweern English (nationality) and British (citizenship). I was born in the far south of England, but not on the mainland island of Great Britain. I have never been to Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. "British" is a collective name for all the nations on the island of Great Britain and also a neutral name for a collective citizenship of the sovereign state of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

    Although my passport says I am a British citizen of the United Kingdom, I do not regard myself as "British", I am English.
