This is probably the best set of episodes that they have yet released.

I liked the Anakin, Padme and Ahsoka episode. Obi wan basically sent Ahsoka to be a C-blocker to Anakin. Ahsoka catches the couple in an romantic embrace after Anakin saves Padme from the explosion. Now that Ahsoka knows that Anakin and Padme are romantically together, I wonder wonder point in the Clone Wars timeline this episode takes place?

There is a time jump in season 3 where we can see Ahsoka grown a little, after episode 'Assassin' and prior to 'Overlords', that timeline shows a lot interactions between these three characters...

My top 3 from Season 2:

    Unexpected Company.
It was speculated whether Ahsoka knew about Anakin+Padme affair. Kenobi formally figured it out at the middle of ROTS when he asked Padme "Is Anakin the father?". This places Ahsoka ahead in the game, and she decided to keep it to herself. Don't forget these episodes are also meant to teach certain values to kids. It sounds like this one was: if you know a love secret about your friend, keep it yourself. Fair.

    Bounty Hunter.
This episode gives me so many smiles. Loved to see Maz and Chewie together for the first time on screen, calling him "my boyfriend" and with a warm hug was so cute. But the best part was that this episode is directly connected with events from both TESB and ROTJ, and it's not just a random story I like it when they use FoD as way to build a stronger canon by connecting dots like these. Hope to see more.

    The Path Ahead.
Not bad for the first male-led FoD episode, and we see how Yoda came up with the idea of travelling in Luke's backpack in TESB. Mark Hamill shared this episode in his Twitter, so this episode comes with a Hamill Approval stamp. Hoping this episode cools down some of the negative vibe that we often see in the SW Facebook comments. For example, after watching the first 2-minute episode of season 2 (Hasty Departure, with Sabine and Hera) some people were making comments like "Another token of SW female social justice", because apparently six 2.5-hour male-led movies were not enough for them. So this episode is for them too: "Here's your token of 2-minute male-led episode. Enjoy." LOL

Hope to see more FoD episodes soon.

I wonder if Ahsoka ever put two and two together and realized that Vader might have a child... ;)

I also like the fact that the Rose and Finn one is a stealth remake of this Finding Nemo scene. :D

OMG, it's time to be paranoid, were they teasing us that she might know whom to look for if Vader is totally gone? :D

In my opinion, the episode beween Yoda and Luke is the best in the entire series. It truly feels like a deleted scene from ESB!

I'm a sucker for Clone Wars era content, so the Ahsoka one was decent. Thank goodness they fixed Anakin's design: the previous one was like sand to my eyes: coarse, rough, and irritating!

Luke and Yoda....Best episode. anything with Ahsoka next best. I've read the short stories made from these and they do help to complete and flesh out these episodes.

7 more episodes released. I liked "Monster Misunderstanding" because its set between TPM and AOTC and I personally want more stories set in the prequel era. I liked "A Disarming Lesson" because of Ahsoka as well as a good lesson for Ezra. "Art History" for it adds a little history and culture. my favorite is "Traps and tribulations" because it gives us a good reason ewoks had all those traps ready to go to use against the Empire in the battle of Endor.

This is the best critique of the concept of Forces of Destiny and what can be done to improve it. Not only that, it gives more insight into Disney's marketing strategy and how it used to regard and how it regards Star Wars now. Good stuff.

i think she's mostly right here, but i think the issues about canon and character integrity are subjective.

children don't care about canonical reality.
they don't care whether the characters don't exist in the same timeline or that Jyn is dead.

when i was a kid and i played Star Wars with my brothers, many of our stories inexplicably revolved around Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, and a random snowtrooper named Y (guess which one i was ~ hahaha). amongst our figures, Boushh and Skiff Lando were discrete characters separate from Leia and regular Lando (and they were a couple ~ ha!).

all that said, i agree that they should make alien dolls and alternate clothing and that the products aren't stellar (and in some ways bizarre).
but all the toy marketing and manufacturing for Star Wars seems kinda crap to me ~ hahahahaha

    the video is hilarious. XD
