    Maybe Yoda is Fulcrum?! /joking

I'm curious as to how they will do the voice thing. Seems a tad bit of a stretch... not unheard of, mind you, but usually those speaking as a disembodied voice have been those that have died.

As for the interaction... I'm thinking only one will have it. Probably Ezra, as they seem to be hinting at something special in regards to him. It's a bit early to tell, yes, but he does seem stronger in the Force than Kanan.

I'm not going to think: "How the hell are they doing this without screwing the continuity?" just like I did when I knew that Obi-Wan would appear in the pilot, because they always find a way to do this.

I'm thinking that Kanan will remember Yoda's teachings and we will hear his voice as Kanan remembers them.
I don't see how they can do some telepathic communication with Yoda from Dagobah.

"-Do or do not. There's no try.
    - But Master Yoda, what's that even mean? How can I do something without trying?"

    hehehe

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, no doubt.

Kanan is questioning the way he is teaching Ezra, that he's not doing it right or failing at it. It may have to do something about teaching, and he's looking for answers from Yoda's teachings on how to better his teachings to Ezra.

Interesting thought. I took from reading it that it was intended to be something of a new "discussion" or revelation of sorts, but your thought about it being a flashback in which Yoda's voice appears (similar to Obi-Wan "appearing" as the holomessage) actually seems a likely route.

If Yoda does have actual contact with Kanan, that would confirm that Yoda knows of Kanan and Ezra's existence. In turn, that means that Kanan and Ezra's fate is sealed, as we all know that when Yoda died, Luke was the last of the Jedi. If Yoda was unware of them, you could make the argument that Luke was simply the last of the Jedi that Yoda knew about, and Ezra or Kanan could still be alive, but Yoda actually talked with either, it will tell us allot about how "Rebels" is going to end.

I agree. Pure speculation here, but my assumption is that over the course of the show we'll see more of Bail Organa and other Rebellion higher-ups, eventually culminating in the show actually portraying the Death Star plans being stolen (after 5 seasons of course). I could definitely see either both of them making it to the end but dying during the operation, or only one of them (probably Ezra) dying at the end with the other dying in the leadup episodes. I actually prefer the latter, as it would allow the character of Ezra to shine through, soldiering on for the greater good despite personal tragedy.

Again, pure speculation, but it would be a smooth tie-in to the OT and would leave them both heroic martyrs to the series.

(Well, assuming Yoda knows of Ezra and Kanan, like you mentioned)
