Here we are, seven years after SW was dusted off and revived, and looking back, I don't think ANY of us would've imagined the content that we've gotten in the form of following movies, animated and live action series, and everything else.

I personally would have NEVER imagined that Boba Fett was going to get his own series, NOR a spin-off type that is Mando, and "baby Yoda", not to mention live action Ahsoka, and ROTJ Luke...SERIOUSLY??

    Wow, I know.....

NOW, we're coming up on the Obi-Wan mini-series with Ewan himself...

But what else could there be in the form of a series??

    Thoughts??

I would not be surprised if they do a Finn series. I know John Boyega didn't want to be on Disney+ but let's face it, if jobs start to dry up sometimes you have to swallow your pride. He was slated for a series on Netflix, then suddenly withdrew; he claimed it was for personal reasons but it could have been he got a better offer from Disney.

Meanwhile...haven't seen the Book of Boba Fett, but some people have been criticising it. Anyone know why?

Word, man! If my boyhood self had known what he had to look forward to, SW-wise, in his 40s, he wouldn't at all have worried about growing old, heh heh.

Well, in addition to the shows already running, we know we're getting Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, Andor, Acolyte (whatever that turns out to be), and Lando (again, whatever that show ends up being), and possibly some iteration of the Rangers of the New Republic. In addition, we're appearently getting a "Stranger Things-like" show about kid-heroes (probably padawans during the High Republic).

Moreover, I suspect we'll probably also get the following stuff, down the line:
I think it is just a matter of time before we get a show that heavily features R2-D2 & C3PO, or even BB-8 & Dio. Same for Chewbacca & Vader; basically, any legecy character that you can pull off with rods and technology, or sticking a new actor in a familiar suit.

Speaking of Vader, he's such an iconinc pop-cultural entity that there's no way they'll NOT do a live-action Vader show at some point. Just look at TM & TBoBF, which have main characters who're often (Mando) and sometimes (Boba) portrayed by stunt doubles and such in the costume; it would be SO easy to pull of a badbutt Vader if they'd had a good story to tell.

Likewise, Yoda & Grogu will be with us forever, although I'm not sure whether they'll get their own shows...

I also believe we might get some PT live-action love at some point. Again, Clones would be extremely easy to do (could we get a Band of Brothers-like miniseries featuring fresh close, I wonder?), and Jedi will never not make money for Lucasfilm. Who knows, with de-aging wizardry being what it is, perhaps we could even get a young Jedi Master Kenboi and his child-padawan Anakin show to fill in the gap between TPM and AotC? That's VERY fertile ground, right there.

Personally, I also hope that we'll get some form of early Jedi Master Luke show in the not too distant future. I don't need a constant stream of battle-Luke, but it would be extremely interesting to follow Luke as he explores the galaxy and prepares to rebuild the Jedi Order.

And, of course, as LFL seeks to ever expand the franchise, we'll also get loads of shows with new faces and stories.

There's going to be a VADER series (or movie). After fans see Vader in the Kenobi series the demand for it will be impossible for Disney to ignore.
Vader is on the most iconic villains in cinematic history.

I still recall seeing TESB in cinemas back in the day. You could sense the fear in moviegoers whenever Vader was on screen.

Disney seems to be biding their time with the Sequel Trilogy. I agree with some on this thread that a Finn and/or Rey tv show is in the works. That would really help the ST by adding additional plot padding.
Disney will continue to give OT fans what they want, by making spinoffs on Lando, maybe young Luke/Leia, maybe Ig-88, maybe Greedo… who knows. There are lots of characters in the oT to choose from.
Disney will start to roll out High Republic-era content, starting with “Grammar Rodeo” (I really wish what its real title is.)

    Vader bar rescue show.
    Spoiler: everyone gets Force-choked.

But I agree with Angelman, Vader series seems almost destined at this point.

I'd love to see a live action Clone Wars-era series. Maybe something set deep in the CIS.

Heck, a Battlefront series could be kinda neat. Iden Versio's VA would be perfect to pay her, and we could get more Inferno Squad goodness while also seeing some classic mindless GCW fun.

Obviously some KOTOR stuff would be cool, or at least High Republic.

An in-universe show could be kinda neat. Maybe some sort of anthology thing- call it something like Holonet Frequency 7 and have some sort of different in-universe thing per week- or even a sort of "channel-flipping" gimmick where we get short segments throughout each week. Podracing, news, interviews of senators... lots of creative room for a show like that, though it's a tough line to walk without getting cheesey.

Something funny that isn't LEGOs, maybe?

Would love some Old republic stories. Darth Bane and his story would be very compelling and relevant to Star Wars universe IMO.

    Bail Organa.

So much to tell. It almost seems automatic. He ties in to so much- Galactic politics from pre-Clone Wars to Imperial takeover and the Rebel Alliance, one of the few who knew the true identity of Vader, Luke and Leia, tied to Asokha, the Ghost crew, Mon Mothma, he's inevitably going to connect the OWK series to Andor... The first scene in ANH- that was his ship, his crew, his droids! Who doesn't want to see more of Alderaan!? Teenage Leia! I've always thought it would be a great story to see how she learned that her father was a super-secret leader of the Rebellion and how he, probably reluctantly, brought her into his operation. He is a Major part of the canon, yet there is still plenty of room creatively for storytelling.

Another thing I'd like to see, a much more general and wide-open idea would be centered on smugglers and smuggling. It's obviously a common activity/career path in the GFFA, and it would be the perfect setup for a cast of all new characters as well as prime territory for cameos, callbacks, etc... Could easily work in bounty hunters and other various Scum and Villany...

Quinlan Vos. He was mentioned in the Kenobi show so it means that they could have future plans for him.

Although it will probably be a terrible show, since the best version of Quinlan Vos was the one we saw in the Republic comics, and that version is way too masculine for today's audience to accept. The current storygroup at Lucasfilm will probably make him closer to his Clone Wars TV show version, where he was downgraded to a stereotypical "funny guy" character.
