    Thanks!

Here is a funny crossover between SW and GoT:

Have you ever heard the Tragedy of the White Walkers?

And a very nice crossover between Kylo Ren and Jon Snow:

I've heard whispers that some cast contracts involve payment per episode...

This is how they are keeping costs down without saying it's cost issues.
It's like 10 mill less to do longer, fewer eps in just cast fees.

It actually makes a lot of sense. And if the episode length really is 80-90 minutes, that still comes out to 8-9 "normal length" episodes. Nothing to scoff at there.

Now that we had time to digest the new season and with only 1 more season left before the main series is over, how does everyone feel this story is gonna end?

Will we see a Battle for King's Landing between the living and the dead? Or between Cersei & the rest? Euron vs. Jon? What I want to see and what I'm hoping we will see is Dothraki in Winterfell learning how to deal with blizzards. Bet the horselords aren't prepared for strong cold weather. I'm betting most will be seeing snow for the first time in their lives.

    Food for thought @skychafer !

My guess is that we will see first the Night King defeated and then the final battle will be against Cersei.

And here is a good old crossover meme lol:

I can see that happening, tbh!

I always found the human villains as the true ultimate evil in Martin's tale. The White Walkers are at the end of the day just a force of nature. Of course, the showmakers could surprise us, but if we consider that we got like six more episodes to go and the WW don't even have a language or any spoken word, it's hard to imagine them as nuanced antagonists compared to characters like Tywin, Cersei or even Ramsay.

Yes! I'm also a huge GoT fan. Love the TV Show, but the books are even better. To address a controversial issue: Some people (for example DashStar) complain that Star Wars is not mature enough and this should be remedied by an Old Republic Tv show for example, which would be R-rated. Im not against this per se, but I think Star Wars shouldn't be competing with Game of Thrones. Titties and dragons are awesome, don't get me wrong, but I'm kinda worried about the concept of extreme blood and gore in Star Wars. Either this would be a complete disappointment, or it would be very successful and forever change Star Wars.

Brienne of Tarth as a glorified stormtrooper I expected all sorts of bad assery but what we got was lame to say the least, GOT/SW might ruin the brand but still I'd like to see an Old Republic version of that. But I won't want to see SW go the way of Trek...

But as I said yesterday in a thread, I kinda suspect TLJ will bring some of the emotional punch of Game of Thrones, without the gore and sex of course.

But Star Wars, in even in its darkest aspect, isn't anything like Game of Thrones. It's much less violent, it's basically devoid of sexual content and the language by characters has never been profane. If someone wants to compare Star Wars to some fantasy universe, then the best choice would be Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. That doesn't mean that we won't get some kind of non-animated Star Wars show, but it's definitely not going to have the same "forbidden fruit" appeal as GoT or Rome did. Besides, if they want to introduce the ancient history of Star Wars galaxy, they will probably do it with (a) film(s).

I thought they were already engaged for some reason.
Or maybe that was just when I heard they were dating.
Or it was the Mandela effect.

Either way, really happy for them.

Probably a good call by Kit, doing this after the finale to draw attention away from the steamy Incest of Ice and Fire scene. :p
