What Lego Dimensions packs do you guys recomend most? With the game dead, I'm going to try to collect all the figures.

What would you say is the number one Story Pack, Level Pack, Team Pack, and Fun Pack out there?

Because of the cancellation clearance, I recently picked up The Goonies, E.T., Gremlins and the Midway Arcade. Just for some good ole '80's nostalgia.

As for the Midway level pack, after completing it, you get a buckload of classic games, including Gauntlet, Paperboy and more..! Playing classic games while playing another game. That's some Inception style gameplay there!

I think after next year, I'll be taking a break from Lego. I've spent so much money on it this year and will be continuing next year! (Plus, I won't have to split my attention between Lego and Star Wars so much.) I'm planning on buying Slave 1, Ninjago City, the Disney Castle, might be doing a Battle of Crait diorama/MOC, the entire Lego Dimensions collection, and a handful of the cheaper Lego sets. Okay, that sounds like a lot now that I say that out loud...

Anywho, I've already created a new thread to vote for the best Lego themes/sets of 2017, so be sure to hop over to that thread to vote!

Lego has just revealed the new modular building, the Downtown Diner. While it is a little less contemporary than previous models, I still quite like it. The building itself looks great (for the most part), the pink car isn't half bad, and the minifigs are decent (I do have mixed emotions on them no longer using the classic smiley faces, but not too big a deal for me). The price is also very good and much more affordable than, say, Assembly Square or Ninjago City.

I got a great deal at Half Price Books yesterday. They were selling the Ninjago Temple of Resurrection for half off its retail price of $70! Keep in mind that this a 2018 set, so this is a fantastic deal! They also had the Creator Family Villa and a Friends set for the same price, so if you ever go to Half Price Books, keep an eye out for Lego sets!

O/T franchise I know... but I need me some of this action when it releases at the end of the month!

Edit - just noticed based on the minifig only shot that it's Rinzler riding on CLU's lightcycle, which is weird as that's not movie accurate... Not that it'll stop me buying it of course

    Gratuitous CLU in action image
