My masterpiece was the difficult and flawed Slave I AOTC:

    C94DEF03-C3E4-4371-9923-D1CF18B7AA38.jpeg

I had to rebuild it because of a flaw in the inner bottom part. Eventually once rebuilt, we glued it to make sure the pieces that were flawed stayed together.

    Hello everyone,
I've done the obligatory introduction in the relevant thread but thought I'd introduce myself on this thread as it covers my second favourite thing after Star Wars.
I'm a huge fan of Lego, not just Star Wars Lego but I do collect mostly Star Wars sets. I also have a thing for custom builds (sort of UCS scale plus some).
A lot of these can be found here at Rebrickable. You buy the instructions from the designer, source the parts, then build.
Last year I finished building a custom Blockade Runner by the designer morstesv. Below was the result.

    xrfwj5abpauq.jpg

Enjoyed the project so much, I've started getting the parts for another build.
    cavegods AT-AT.
Will probably finish getting the parts at some point during the summer for this one as it is a behemoth of a build. :)

Since we currently don’t really know what sets we’ll be getting this summer, here’s what my dream wave of sets would be. These aren’t actual rumors, but are simply what I’d realistically like to see in a wave. This was honestly pretty fun to make and I’m curious to see what sets you guys would like to see be made,

Jedi: Fallen Order Imperial Battle Pack: Could include 1x Scout Trooper with baton; 1x Scout Trooper Commander with Baton, and 2x Purge Troopers with Accessories

501st Clone Trooper Battle Pack: Could include Assault, Heavy, Specialist, and Officer classes like in Battlefront 2.

Duel on Zeffo: Small playset that recreates the scene in Jedi: Fallen Order where
Cal and the Second Sister fight in the Imperial Dig Site and where the Second Sister takes off her helmet for the first time.
. This set could include Cal Kestis, Second Sister, and BD-1.

Endor Speeder Chase: We don’t see enough Endor sets from Lego, so I’d love a new one recreating the famous chase scene from ROTJ. My version would include two speeder bikes and figures of Luke and Leia in their Endor outfits, plus a Scout Trooper.

Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighter: Assuming we see these ships in the new season of Clone Wars, this could be a good “bad guy” vehicle to make for the Siege of Mandalore. Could include Darth Maul, 2x Shadow Collective Mandalorians, and Bo Katan.

Republic Gunship: We haven’t gotten a Republic Gunship since 2013, so this year would be a great time for a new one. This one could come with Anakin, Ahsoka, Captain Rex, a 501st Clone Trooper with the Ahsoka markings, and a pilot or two.

Razor Crest: With how popular The Mandalorian is, we need a set based off the titular character’s ship. It could include The Mandalorian with his beskar armor, The Child, Greef Carga, Kuiil, and IG-11 to round off the main characters we’re missing right now. Could also include a Blurrg, as my buddy @Lock_S_Foils suggested!

As for more sets for The Rise of Skywalker, here’s what I would like to see be made now that I’ve seen the film.
Resistance B-Wing: We haven’t gotten a B-Wing since 2014 and since the Resistance now uses them as of TROS, this would be a good time to release one of these as well. It could include a pilot, Leia, and Klaud.

Final Order Showdown: Could be a playset based off of Palpatine’s new Throne Room from TROS. It could include Rey, Ben Solo, the undead Emperor Palpatine, two of Palpatine’s new guards, and one of the Knights of Ren that we’re still missing.

Ochi’s Ship: Could include Poe Dameron in his Kijimi outfit, Babu Frik, D-O, and the other Knight of Ren that we’re missing.

Resistance Landing Craft: I don’t know what the actual name for this ship is, but it’s the one that lands the Resistance soldiers onto the Star Destroyer during the final battle. It could include an Orbak, as well as Rose Tico, Beaumont Kin, Jannah, one of the Orbak riders, and pilot minifigures.

I'd definitely like a Lego Razor Crest if they didn't go too big and make it too expensive.

It looks like we’re getting a UCS Republic Gunship, next year at the earliest. I’m pretty excited for this one. I can’t wait to finally add one of my favorite Star Wars ships to my Lego collection!

As for the rest of this year, it appears that these are the Lego Star Wars sets we’ll be getting:

    April
    • A brick-built D-O to go with the big BB-8 from a few years ago.
    • A bust of a Stormtrooper helmet.
    • A bust of Boba Fett’s helmet.
    • The fourth set’s a mystery, but it’s been suggested that it could be a Duel of Exegol set, but take this one with a grain of salt.
    May

    • $200 UCS Set (nobody knows what it is yet.)

    Late Summer/Fall:
    • Another UCS set (again, no idea what it’ll be yet.)
    • AT-AT for $160
    • General Grievous Starfighter for $80 (there are some blurry pics of this that leaked recently; it includes a new version of Grievous, probably a slightly new version of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a mysterious third minifigure, which I believe will be a 212th Clone Trooper.)
    • Night Buzzard for $70 (presumably includes the last two Knights of Ren figures that we’re missing.)
    • Clone Wars AAT that’s $30-$40
    • Two or three more Clone Wars sets.
We can probably expect some promos throughout the year: at least one for pre-ordering Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and one for May the 4th. There may be some store exclusives or other surprise sets but that remains to be seen. There will be no Mandalorian or Jedi: Fallen Order sets.

From my understanding, Lego Star Wars didn’t sell as well last year and with no new movies coming out the next few years, we should expect the theme to slow down anyways. This will be a very safe year (i.e. not very many new molds for new pieces and few innovative or obscure sets being released.) I’m kinda disappointed by some of the decisions I’ve heard about, but as long as we get new Clone Wars Ahsoka and Maul figures I guess I’ll be satisfied.

Saw the news and am pleased with the result (was my personal favourite out of the three).
Hopefully it will be a well detailed version with a couple of sought after figures.
They will definitely has to do something special with it though as set 75021 was a fairly good system scale version in itself, looking forward to what they come up with.

I've seem a lot of the speculation surrounding this year's sets and some Clone Wars sets will be most welcome after the usual X-wing, A-wing Falcon releases from the last two years. (Don't get me wrong, I like many of the recent sets, I just look forward to something different to spend my hard earned on).

It will be interesting to see how they pitch the rumoured AT-AT as the First Order Heavy Assault Walker wasn't one of the best and was waaaayyy overpriced IMO.

Agree that getting an Ashoka would be good, preferably in a smaller set rather than an uninspiring large set like 75158. Couldn't force myself to pull the trigger on that one even when it went on sale.:(

Tbh, I never expected any tie-in for the game as while the story is technically canon, the crossover market for Lego buyers and gamers can't be that big (hence why Lego Overwatch sets are gathering dust on shelves around the globe).

That aside thought, I'm surprised they're not doing more Mandalorian sets - you'd think a set with Mando, IG-11, bandits and potentially the Child from the village in Ep1, or featuring something with the troopers, the scouts, Cara, Kuill, Karga or Gideon with 'that thing' would be an easy sell. All there's been so far is the AT-ST set (from the most disappointing ep of the whole series) and a random not-even-linked to the series Mandalorian battlepack!?

I somewhat agree, but Lego has made sets for Force Unleashed and both EA Battlefront games so there’s a precedence for Lego Star Wars sets based off the video games. A set based off the Mantis ship might not have been realistic, but a Purge Trooper Battle Pack or a small set with Cal, BD-1, and the Second Sister would have been nice.

Funnily enough, there are now rumblings of a RazorCrest set, presumably as some sort of retail exclusive. Getting that with Beskar Mando, Kuill, IG-11, Greef Karga, and The Child minifigures would be incredible, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Additionally, we now know what the two $30 Clone Wars/Prequel sets will be: Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor and a BARC Speeder. So with a few exceptions, including both UCS sets, we now pretty much know what Lego Star Wars sets will be coming out this year. Again, I just want a new Ahsoka minifigure and with that, I’ll be generally satisfied with everything (other than some of the prices, but that’s kind of a given with Lego Star Wars sets.)

Here are those busts that I was talking about:

    upload_2020-3-19_11-37-27.png
    https://brickset.com/article/49344/star-wars-helmets-officially-announced!

    And here’s that brick-built D-O:

    upload_2020-3-19_11-39-0.jpeg

I believe that the helmets are around $60 each and the D-O is around $70.

I personally think that these all look fine, but I’m disappointed that these are the only four sets we’ll be getting during the month of April (especially compared to the April waves of the last two years). I was hoping that 75274 would be a Exegol playset, but it ended up being be that TIE Fighter helmet instead. Oh well, here’s to hoping that the summer wave is great!
