    - For me, both series took a season or two to really find their legs. But once they did became must-watch for this fan.

    - I've read that Clone Wars episodes aren't in chronological order, and that there are guides out there on the net somewhere that list the correct chronological order. The next time I rewatch CW I'll find one of those guides and see how it makes a difference.

    - I'm a huge Thrawn fan. Fell in love with Zahn's portrayal of him in the books back in the '90s. I think you're right in that we get to see inside Thrawn's head in the books and that's not so easily done on screen.

    - The scope of Rebels -- the developing war against the Empire seen through the eyes of this small group -- is akin to the OT. In the OT we get a full-on war against the Empire as seen through the eyes of our "crew" -- Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, the droids, Lando. You know, it's like poetry!

    - I tried watch a couple episodes of Resistance and ... ugh, I just couldn't go on. It was a swing and a miss in my book.

some episodes of Clone Wars happen at different times, but just a few of them... some like the Arc Troopers arc are connected storywise but the training episode happens before rookies in timeline.

So it is not really like watching all over the place anthology like Young Indiana Jones. Clone Wars is pretty much in order except for like circa 10 episodes that are shifted a bit.

I started rewatching Rebels this week and I am currently in S2E2.

I remember I liked the first time, with some filler episodes in longer seasons.
But with this rewatch I think season 1 is really really good. The story, the tempo, the characters, perfect number of episodes. So much Empire is great and also all the Jedi stuff with Kanan and Ezra is really cool too.

I wish in Andor season 2 we can get some little glimpses of it cause Rebels also acts as one of those little important factions in the shadow that quickly joins the biggest groups, with Ahsoka, Organa and company.

After season 1 I think the ressurection of the Inquisitor in OW is pretty bad and the character went from a cool and menacing one to a puppet with a bad characterization. OW didn't do a great job.

The music it has a lot from OT so is damn good.

Also some say is not dark and adult like Clone Wars but i disagree. Certainly the colours are different (the show Ashoka seems has the same and I love the colours in Rebels, the sunsets, characters...) and there is more light (driving the story to A NEW HOPE from the Rebellion). But some of the Jedi stuff, Empire and some of the characters are treatened very good with adult approaches. Even there are tortures and empire officers killings from the same Empire. There is some philosophy in it and some serious thoughts from characters. There is little humour here and there (love the relation between Zeb and Ezra) but is rather good and not embarassinbg at all. As I said, i think is a very great first eason. For me it has the same "adult tone" as Clone Wars, although there are two different time periods well diferenced in both shows.

I missed too and in order to be fresh for Ashoka I decided to start again ;) And feels good.

The truth is am rewatching it (just the second time) and it has been some time ago, a lot of movies and shows on the couch, I didn't remember some of the episodes and setpieces and seem pretty fresh. Also I don't have to wait a week to watch an episode so the viewing is different and better.

Is pretty cool to rewatch it, and knowing Ashoka is coming the rewtch is better.
