    To be fair, they're saying they want a sequel to their own marketing campaign - not a sequel to Rogue One that they can base another marketing campaign around. There's a difference.

    I think there's an easy fix - change the focus from Rogue One to Rogue Squadron. Just have the drivers be X-wing pilots and you're good to go.

    The only way they'd do that is if the game came out in a window that wasn't too close to a Star Wars movie (and since the game's set to hit at the end of the year, that's a "no", I think). Movies are bigger hauls than games are - most of the time, anyway.

    No, it's more like integrating the ad campaign with an existing element in the Star Wars canon as opposed to forcing a connection (IE: developing a "Solo" car model and waiting for two years to release it).
