    Looks like the drop ship from the concept art has crashed. The one with the quad engines similar to X-Wings.

    You beat me to the punch Tim! I was going to say the same thing. I don't quite understand all of the ladder-like structures around the engines and why the engines look so smooth. Perhaps it's a basic frame that will have CGI details added to it in post production?

    Yeah, that stood out to me too, like maybe they weren't done building it but that doesn't make sense if they're already filming on the set with actors in costume.

    Star Wars movie starts shooting day 1 , pictures from the set leaks that very same day. Gotta love Star Wars fans :)

    EDIT: Godamnit ! i was referring to the EP8 Skelling set pics (to many windows open) But i guess this was true for R1 too . Pics leaked almost immediately

    It looks to me that the ship is merely a skeleton for pyrotechnic purposes, and that the details of the ship will be digitally added later. Can't have exploding ship parts raining down on your actors. I think this theory is further bolstered by the rigging with the three wires. I'm guessing some stuntmen are going to go airborne during detonation.

    I just saw this, is it real?

    And lastly, filmmaker Guillermo del Toro has said that he has an idea for a Jabba The Hutt spin-off movie. “I would do the sort of Godfather saga that Jabba the Hutt had to go through to gain control,” Del Toro said. “One, because it’s the character that looks the most like me, and I like him. I love the idea of a Hutt type of mafia, a very complex coup, you know? … I just love the character.” The director did say that his “dance card is full”, so we shouldn’t expect to see him announced as the director of Star Wars Anthology: Jabba The Hutt any time soon

    I think del Toro was pulling our leg. I know that there is nothing on the rumor/speculation front that this is anything Lucasfilm intends.
