I wouldn't hold my breath. These images scream fake. I know the second one comes from a fan-made trailer. I would be extremely surprised if the teaser came out before Celebration.

 

Uh-huh. About as believable as the Avengers 4 trailer dropping around Black Friday... or hell tonight for that matter.

Ah, sorry to bum you out. I think it's unlikely, but I wish you were right about them giving us something before 2018 ends.

 

They're both 100% NOT from IX but from fan films. That 1st picture fan film, name escapes me, is worth a watch, about 7-8 mins long, but well done.

I discovered the other image of the hand in this fan trailer too in 1:07, made by deleted TLJ scenes and fan films. Don't know which fan film is the one from the hand (a Jedi in front of a campfire).

 

Interesting, no clear indication what for, could it be? Nice little starry icon there. She's been very quiet this time around. Also nice hair.

 

According to the post she is in Surrey. My quick search on the internet shows that that is approximately 31 minutes from Pinewood. More then likely she is filming for IX.

First of all, always take leaks with a grain o salt. Though as I understand it Making Star Wars has a pretty good track record with leaks. Second, we don't know the context, it could be a flashback scene, so chill.

 

They had a decent track record for TFA. TLJ...not so much.

Also I hope he does have the mask back. Makes sense. I kinda disliked him not having it, but it made sense for TLJ because of teh scenes withe Rey and Kylo.

 

I think and I could be wrong, they were pretty much correct on the merchandise front, which a lot of this sounds like.

Helmet leaker also confirms Knights of Ren through art work.

 

I kind of like this idea of Kylo making a botched job of a helmet... it sort of makes me think he’s going to be a total mess and that’s interesting.

 

I actually think the repaired Skywalker lightsaber is quite interesting. Since the kyber crystal was split in half, perhaps the saber will be unstable similar to Kylo Ren's? That could make for a cool and unique visual style, and a visual representation of the balance both Ren and Rey are meant to represent.

 

Agree. A flaming scimitar-like weapon would be super cool.

 

You guys are over-thinking this.

New Kylo mask = new toys. New costumes. Etc.

Same with the saber. It will probably have cross-guards, because JJ is completely unoriginal. It will be a blue version of Kylo's is all.


Wasn't the merchandise sales of TLJ very disappointing? There were no new toys, etc. This stuff fixes that.
