    I think that the question on everyone's minds is whether this filming is for VII or VIII... my personal thoughts are that they are filming sequences that will be used to tie the movies together, filming for both...

    Lucasfilm reps corrected EW when they reported that they were filming reshoots, and Rhian Johnson, who has also been in London recently, was mentioned in another report.

    If this isn't for Episode VIII, I'd say there's a real good chance that they're giving us a post-credits scene in VII, filmed by Rhian Johnson as a real early tease for the sequel.

    The EW writer said he heard directly from Lucasfilm that it's filming for Rian Johnson's Episode VIII after mistakenly attributing it to The Force Awakens.

    In all likelihood, it was a snafu on episodes... there is just that little sliver of doubt... I don't think it is a reshoot, it's either VIII entirely, or a crossover piece

    the EW correction highlights they were told by LFL that it was actually an attempt to hide VIII shooting under the generic "star wars" title. As i said in another post, i think they probably felt it got to the point where so many sites were running conflicting stories they just wanted to correct it so credible sites would just drop it and didn't have to deal with people trying to deduce which episode was being shot. I mean to officially tell people you are obfuscating film shooting is not really a good way to hide the actual shooting they want to do.

    Lunak Heavy Industries is the Rogue One code name. I don't know what Episode VIII's is... I've seen Space Bear Industries as another code name for a project.

    Funny that he was tweeting the whole "Send my regards to the Emerald Isles" thing a few days ago.

    I really hope we don't run into a stupid rumor like "Luke is only alive in one scene, gets killed off, and comes back as a Force Ghost for the remainder of the movie".
    Tin Can was what they were calling Josh Trank's movie (on an unrelated note - Fant4stic sucked an ungodly amount of ass, and based on what I've heard about how he acted during the production of that shitfest, I'm glad he's off the project), and the Lord & Miller Han Solo movie was pulled forward from 2020 to 2018, meaning that a code name for such a project would not be so readily unveiled. Through process of elimination, we can determine that Space Bear Industries is either for Episode VIII or Episode IX - which can further be boiled down to Episode VIII, considering that Episode IX is not even in pre-production yet and therefore would not have a codename.

    I think Colin Trevor just started working on EP9, did he not? He shared that one tweet with the Lucasfilm notebook. Maybe the first thing he does is pick a code name?

    Well, yes - Trevorrow started early work on his movie. But the codenames "Lunak" and "Space Bear" came long before they were looking to hire a director for Star Wars Episode IX. So if there's a code name for the movie, it would be picked now, not in advance.

    So regarding Daisy's look. I once read that celebrities in order to troll paparazzi they often times wear the same cloths so that they can't sell the photo as they could otherwise, since they all look the same. Perhaps her publicist, knowing that they grabbed photos of her last time, advised her to make sure she wore the same cloths in a way to get back at them. Or like the article states, she just likes those cloths :D

    It's damage control on Benicio Del Toro's part, mate. Adam Driver said the exact same thing back when word got out that he was hired to play the bad guy.

    But I don't think that Mads is actually playing a bad guy. The reason being is that he wasn't rumored to be playing a baddie from when he was first cast - heck, his inclusion caught a lot of people off-guard.

    It is a hundred times too late to shoot anyhting for EP VII. Everything is in the box and ready for the show.

    But what we can imagine is that this Island is where Luke is living in the movies with R2 if Jimmy Vee was there too.
