One thing I'm hoping is that Jakku has something to make it feel interesting. If it's just sand than I would have preferred they make it tatooine because of the history. I want Jakku to stick out in my mind when I look back on TFA

    Too true.
Regardless of how I feel about the prequels in general 15 years down the line, I can still remember how amazing it felt to be sat in a cinema in 1999 as the main theme kicked in and the titles rolled up. Like, that was when it suddenly became real - I'm actually sat here watching a new Star Wars movie.
Never thought I'd get to experience that again...

I'm surprised nobody pointed this out yet. There seems to be a shot of TFA concept art in this new ILM video:

Notice the engines, it's the TFA xwing.

I remember that feeling. Yet I couldn't help but think that the star wars logo in the movie was not as bright and like BLAM as it should have been. And the music when the logo popped up didn't pack the same punch. That's just me........or is it.

Granted I'm only old enough to have seen the latest four episodic films in theaters, and was very young for RotJ, but I have always had that same great feeling for all six films. Perhaps the previous three (PT) weren't what I had imagined but I love them still and cannot wait for the next three (ST).

Thought the new article on the front page about Greg Grunberg's role was interesting, especially since we've haven't heard a lot about his character in the recent round of speculations or plot summaries. Here's to hoping there are more mysteries to uncover.

It at least makes a lot more sense than Finn and Rey pulling off crazy piloting stunts on their own. Furthermore, it would give an actual reason as to why they'd be able to find out where Han and Chewie are - the pilot, presumably, should know who they are and where they are.

Please don't let Greg Grunberg have a large role - I personally just don't like him as an actor -maybe he's Nien Nunb so his face will be covered ;)- he said he spent significant time in the Falcon.....
    --- Double Post Merged, Jun 12, 2015, Original Post Date: Jun 12, 2015 ---

Actually, he said no prosthetics, so I guess he's not Nien Nunb...

He actually played a decent supporting character in Alias so I guess I should give him a shot :)

Holding out hope that no prosthetics doesn't preclude mo-cap. Greg Grunberg mo-cap Nien Nunb FTW!

I'm not sure I agree, a force sensitive Rey who might own the falcon and might be Han's daughter seems quite capable of those piloting stunts. Why would this pilot know where Han and Chewie are? From the trailer dialogue it seems they haven't seen the falcon in a while.

The report we got said that he isn't playing a CGI character, either.
