    Yes, all that came before beside

    -Clone Wars animated series
    -SW Rebels
    -The OT/ PT
    are all Canon

    Everything after when Kennedy made the announcement is actually CANON.

    Not sure about
    Caravan of Courage or the other EWOK adventures

    All new books are Canon. I think I read somewhere that they may use and incorporate ideas from the EU type books but that they are not CANON.

    There is one book they should make CANON though and that is

    SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE

    When SW was kinda down and out in the early 90's that book actually brought back SW from a sleep. That book also led to the launch of the POTF 2 toys as well.

    You know what would have helped more? A Special Edition re-release of the Star Wars Holiday Special playing before the special editions of The OT in theaters back in '97.

    Nah.
    By the time Shadows came out in 1996 the toys have been back in stores for quite a while and the SE and Prequels already where in production. Shadows was the 'dress rehearsal' for the upcoming multimedia campaigns.
    It was the Zahn trilogy, maybe trading cards and comics, that caused the awakening. Have you felt it?

    Arndt never had a script finished for TFA. He just had a lot of notes and ideas. When JJ and Kasdan took over they basically started from scratch on the TFA. However it seems like from what Pablo said today that the Story Group used some of Arndt's and Lucas' ideas in creating the back story of what occurred between ROTJ and TFA.

    Haven't they done that with the books and comics, though? Maybe they might do some short films like with Marvel's One Shots.

    The only Prequel I really want is Rogue One and maybe Shadows of the Empire.

    I want to move forward with the story

    BTW! did anyone see the list of films that DISNEY has planned through 2020. Interesting that ROGUE ONE is the only Anthology/ a SW Story that is listed before then.

    Were they not going to release one in between each episode or was that not confirmed?

    I'd be all for a Knights of the Old Republic movie...

    the Han Solo movie is slated for 25 May 2018.

    Has it been delayed, or was it just absent from this list you saw?
