The grey side of the force means you practice the generalities of the force, not the specifics. We don't know that Ashoka does that. Also Jedi can't be grey just like how sith can't b grey. There is no pure side that will end in complete neutrality.

At this stage, you cannot be 100% sure of it. We cannot even say that in canon there is a grey... force.
I respect your idea, it's legit, but I still believe there is not a grey side. And that grey it's another thing.

I'm not sure what impact this will have on the ongoing Lucasfilm release schedule (if any), but the Avatar sequels are now officially slated for December releases each year starting in 2020. I suspect this makes the Episode 9 release date of December 2019 much more likely.

More details from their official Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AvatarMovie.UK/?brand_redir=82771544063

I guess this means that after Episode IX SW films will go back to their May release dates.

I think there are some big conversations going on at Disney as we speak regarding release dates for Episode 9 in 2019 and how this all fits into the 'Grand Plan'.
Don't forget Disney has the following to take into account when planning for 2019:
    • It'll want to keep well away from the release dates for Captain Marvel (March), the Avenger sequel (May), Toy story 4 (June) and the Spider-Man sequel (July)
    • Less important, but could also be a factor, is the opening of Star Wars Land in Anaheim/Orlando (no month for opening yet given)
    • They'll also want to avoid going up against the Indiana Jones movie which is currently scheduled for late July
Now that Avatar has freed up the December 18th release slot I think it's inevitable that Episode 9 will move into this. It's a perfect fit.

After that they'll revert back to the May dates for the Anthology movies.

I would suspect that they will move the stand alone films to May as well. Since we know they are giving the saga films a break after IX, they can leave the December slot to Cameron for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if they had even discussed this considering that Cameron seems to be on friendly terms with Disney seeing as how there is supposed to be an Avatar presence at the Disney Parks in the future(or there may already be one, been a long time since I've been to one of their parks).

Wasn't there a rumor that JC was going to push his Avatar movies up to Thanksgiving if Disney stuck with December?

Maybe I'm missing the meaning of that tweet...what does that have to do with Luke's necklace? Was Jason Ward responding to a question?

I doubt theyd change it now unless something drastic happens to star wars but with avatar, I think it will keep changing.
