Original theories (Which S.N.O.K.E. is), are not trolling.

If it is than Gallieo's theory that Earth orbits the Sun will be trolling ( well Inquisition did sough this as genuine trolling)

Are you satissfied that after Darth Sidious we got the guy by the personal name Snoke?
Even the dirrectors of the film made joke on it in deleted scene.

 

I tried. You reacted with calling it trolling. As you did to everyone else as well.

I never said it could not be. Just very unlikely. If Snoke were an acronym, it likely would have been a production thing and not in the movie.

That's kind of silly even by Star Wars measures.

My main argument is, you can make anything an acronym. Yours is that Snoke is not a name you've heard before.
And before 1977, no had heard Chewbacca, Jabba or Greedo.

You are just going in a circle now.

 

I will help you exit this circle and finish "debate".

Snoke is underwhelming as a personal name for main villain in the Galaxy and we know that.

Film dirrector himself, in the deleted scene I will post in video , shows he doesn't hasitate to make humor abaut Snoke-the name , because Snoke is obviously not real (end) name of this powerfull Dark Side figure, which will be revealed later.

Debate ends here for me ( for all intentions and purposes) until we see film

My question is, if it's an acronym , then why would Kylo Ren and Hux refer to him as Supreme Leader Snoke? Wouldn't they just call him by his name?

of ridiculous names. But they tend to grow on you.

Snoke is not an acronym. He's called Snoke. He's also Plagueis.

 

They talk in front of him and call him just "Supreme leader".We sough only 2 people, Kylo and general Hux personally communicating with this Alien and both
refer to him just as "Supreme leader".

In between themseleves however, everyone in movie Rbels or First Order about him as S.n.o.k.e.

I didn't responded to you but to the other guy.

I have noticed Hux and Kylo refer on Him when infront of his hologram (directly) as Supreme leader.

In between themselves everyone (Lea, Hux, Kylo, rebels and First Order) name him also Snoke. We do not have confirmation anyone called him personally in front of him as Snoke, just as Supreme leader.

Which is more logical if Snoke is acronym, used by just about everyone to describe being, The Supreme leader, whose personal name nobody in fact does not know.

Everyone remember this scene?

Han says: "Snoke is using you for your abilities".

Kylo says: "No, Supreme Leader is wise."

Kylo didn'tsaid Supreme leader Snoke, making an accent on him been Supreme leader (and term Snoke is less significant in description of this being for him)

Han on the other hand, called him just Snoke, implying term Snoke is bearing a nature of this being, as it is an acronym everyone uses talking about that being, this is not true name of that creature but an acronym coined to describe the nature of that being.

Snoke means : Dark Side user no one know existed. The name Sith ,the S is result maybe because differnce beween Sith and other possible Dark side users is only academic, insignificant for the people of the Galaxy.

 

Snoke is his name .as if leia would use some stupid acronym.sith no one knew existed? bantha poodoo .sorry.

Look on this way: A powerful Dark side user appears after battle of Endor unexpectedy, and nobody knows his name (not the Empire remnants, not the Republic, Rebels,Luke, Lea, no one). Let us presume he also does not want to tell his true name to anyone (why should he?)

How would people of the galaxy call him?

What could be possible "nickname" of the Dark Side user nobody know that existed they encountered and are dealing with now "everyday"?

At first maybe there was many nicknames, but over time, in conversation in between people of the Galaxy (including First Order) a name Snoke crystallized as the shortest and most easiest desciption of that character, and came to be common term in use, almost becaming his name.

Snoke means thus: Dark side user (Sith will be first guess of everyone) , that no one know existed. Its very practical for use because when you tells Snoke, now everyone knows about whom one is talking about.

Sith No One Know Existed- Snoke.

In fact I find this to be thrilling and genial if it is true .. I dont like personal name Snoke for such powerfull dark figure, but it is great as acronym, and let us hope it is, it is a genial move by the story department.
