The entire thing about "leak protection" in the new trilogy is to prevent strightforward and logical conclusions about story plot to be confirmed, so to maintain expectation.

For me its clear Rey is a child of Jedi master Luke Skywalker and another Jedi woman . They left Rey on Jakku, her mother later died, and her grave is on Ahch-To and Luke is there for years for that reason, its his new home. Ahch-To is close to Jakku.

On the Jakku, next to Rey was living a Lorr San Tekka who had exact map that leads to the Luke, which confirms Luke met him, and has been on Jakku.

In Lorr San Tekka's map, we have charted path that leads from Jakku to Ach-To.

Rest my case.

 

Of course, we can't rule out the posibility of Rey indeed turning out to be a Skywalker. We can however rule out the credibility of this "leak". I can make up a similar story based on the teaser in 5 minutes.

From the current theories, I personaly like this version the most though:

If the books in the teaser are the journal of the whills then why would it have a Jedi Order symbol on one? Unless that was a different book altogether. I'm not sure if they're the journal of the whills

 

Rieekan, I'm answering cause you are calling me out, so listen here for a second. Just go back and read my posts. I never claimed to have seen a 5 minute preview, so any person claiming that they have seen it, or claim to know are 100% lying. Period.

Read my post to you from earlier. It's not about shooting the messanger, it's about the message and the delivery of the message. The fact that people had to jump through hoops to investigate your info because you weren't forthcoming kind of proves that. You could have either linked to the site and stayed quiet, or gave us all the info you suggest you had. Your message was the equivalent to a kid saying "I know something you don't know".

 

Here's what you need to understand and what I discussed with Viral Hide in private. Had I linked to the site, the 'supposed leaks' would have been seen. I wanted to compartmentalize the information as to not have that happen. Whether true or not now, I certainly would not have wanted that information to go viral. That's it. There is no more, there is no trying to be coy. Many have asked me in private and I refused everyone. The whole point was to let the community know that TLJ may have leaked, did not want to say more than that. Magnar went searching and he found it, gladly too late. Others went a little further than Magnar and found information in the cache. As for me, I wasn't about to compromise any information I fell upon and I shared everything I knew about how the TLJ leak went down.

 

Isn't that what a RUMORS thread is about?

You didn't need to share that you "know a plot twist from the last 30 minutes" but weren't going to tell anyone. Did you really think YOU were the one that was going to make THE POTENTIALLY BIGGEST LEAK IN THE HISTORY OF MODERN CINEMA go viral by telling SW fans on a News and Rumors thread?

Then you could have said that, linked to the site, and let everyone else find out for themselves. You could have said "hey, I think TLJ is going to leak. Saw something online. Be prepare!". No. Instead you talked about hearing Two sentences and the plot twist that you wish you never heard. Then you go on to tell us how you are saving us from ourselves. Sorry man, that's some serious trolling.

Did you ever think if you told this community that we could vet the info for legitimacy? I mean, you gotta admit you were seriously duped into thinking you had info NOBODY here had.

The closer we get to release, the more wild goose chases. Just like TFA!

 

The problem with the lightsaber theory is that the timeline doesn't work right if I remember correctly

 

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this topic. I will, of course, be more than willing to admit being wrong come this December or even after Episode 9.
