Dark Rey parentage is a rip off of Luke / Vader. It wouldn't be shocking or surprising. Its just a roll of the eyes, here go again trope. We all literally have the shirts and the cups etc..........

 

Rey's parentage is gonna disappoint many for many reasons. Mainly because of the EU. I'm fine with her being no one but at least one noble parent and a connection to the skywalker family in some way, but she doesn't have to be related.

 

Well then you didn't even get to the part where it said that Ezra "is most probably present in the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi.".

 

Interesting. Although this part-- Episode VIII will surely address the much-speculated subject of parents of Rey, said Johnson. Unless Ezra hits a major growth spurt and grows to 7 feet tall, he is not Snoke. Also, I'd bet some credits that BDT character is not Ezra either.

 

Thats what I was thinking too. Hit the ball on that one too!

 

But seriously, I would be shocked if Ezra is in The Last Jedi. I just don't see how that's even a remote possibility.

I don't think so either. I did like the theory of him being a bounty hunter. Fits the type of characters he's good at playing on screen.

 

They named a character Bridger who appears in a series set between trilogies. Its very unlikely he's in the OT . . . so what is he bridging if he's not in the ST.

Now I am inclined to agree but not even remote seems a strong statement.

 

Geez, never even thought of it that way! who knows, maybe he learns how to pass on knowledge to the Convorees and Luke figures it all out on Ahch-To! Lol

 

In Rebels Ezra often gives fake names. He used Jabba the Hutt as an alias and it ended up in the Imp database so more recently he has thrown out Lando Calrissian as an alias. So if Benito Del Toro answers Finn's question about who he is by saying he is Lando. You know its Ezra.

 

That would be the type of wink Star Wars writers and storygroup would come up with. Although it would be cool in some ways, it would surprise me! I can't see BDT being a jedi.

 

So Lando IS in TLJ...FROM a certain point of view

You do know that comes from IMDB trivia right? but anyways.. Sure, I could have seen him play Maul at 33 years of age. (He's 50 now)... he would have to have quite the back story. He does fit the age requirement but I don't see them being able to introduce Ezra intelligently in my opinion..
