Shocking truth = Luke turns to the dark side?

 

No ,Snoke is someone shocking.

Luke been father of Rey is expected by at least 50 % of people.
Luke turning slightly to Dark Side is expected by many.
Rey been born by the will of the Force just like Anakin and in fact reincarnated chosen one is debated all over.
Lea dies is expected by anyone now.
Rey been a descendant of Obi-Wan is expected by many.
Kylo Ren redemption awaited.
Finn as a grandson of Mace Vindu or Lando Carlisian will not be shock.
Benicio del Torro or whoever as Ezra Bridger will be cheap,though absolutely expected
And even a French kiss between Poe and Finn, or Kylo and Hux will not cause riots.

Kylo will reveal to Rey "Luke has killed your dark side parents".

 

I like the idea of Luke killing Rey's Parents - dark side or not. It'll be interesting, especially coming from Kylo.

 

This reveal has been my dream scenario for months now. Luke and Kylo are responsiable for the death of Rey's parents. IMO this incident would be very fitting for the story. It would show that Luke isn't the hero everyone wants him to be. It could also be the beginning of Ben's fall to the dark side.

 

How? Kylo never knew Rey. Only reason she gets brought up is because of the awakening in the force by Snoke and Kylo. Rey was born and raised on Jakku, unless Luke came to Jakku and hung out then he didn't kill her parents knowingly or unknowingly.

 

Rey is not born on Jakku, she was abandoned on Jakku at a young age, and this is how could work the "Luke killed your dark side parents" theory:

Thanks for posting the video dude! I really enjoyed it moreso than ones I've seen...oh man. I dunno if it will happen but if written carefully by the story group over at Lucasfilm, I feel it has a good deal of potential cause of its interesting twists of things.

 

Except she wasn't left on Jakku. All in that video and the timeline doesn't fit. Nice speculation though.

 

... After walking away from my laptop and reading your post, I was like, k but a lot of people think she was dropped and left on Jakku going by the force vision...but then when I was going to the bathroom (I know, TMI) lols I started to see why you would think that she wasn't just left on Jakku.

Going by the video and your post, here's what I was thinking....okay what if Luke and Ben were already on Jakku to find relics hidden down in the surface and they just so happen to stumble upon the two Dark side users? In the confrontation, Luke ends up killing them and it leads to him and Ben discovering 'Rey'. Ben and the girl bond during the length of time they've spent on Jakku continuing their search for any relics regarding knowledge of the force and the Jedi. Its during this period, Ben begins to have doubts about his uncle and the Jedi ways, questioning Luke's methods whether or not it was right or wrong of him to kill her parents. As was mention in the video, Luke could have altered 'Rey's' mind implementing false memories which leads her to have nightmares and visions later on. When it is time to leave Jakku, Luke feels Ben is too attached to the girl that he decides its best to leave her on Jakku where she belongs. But again I don't know how that line in the novelization can work. I can't see Ben saying "I'll come back for you sweetheart..." ??? I dunno. As for Luke saying that...I dunno.

there are other ways to speculate this. What if one of the parents is actually alive after the fight? Perhaps the father is alive and I dunno. Whether or not Luke altered her mind with false memories, its possible that the father could have found her and said "I'll come back for you sweetheart" and takes off in his ship to go after Luke.

Another thing too, instead of Luke altering her mind, she could have been a witness to the battle and that left her having those nightmares and visions later on as she grew.

I don't think it has been officially established whether Rey was born on Jakku or not. Abandoned has been the term used and that could be used either way. She could have been abandoned on Jakku if she was born there and her parents decided to leave from Jakku without her. She can also have been abandoned by being dropped off there and her parents leaving her.

At this point it could go either way.

 

I agree. and I was going to say something similar but then I posted what I posted previously just a few moments ago.


Also wanted to add, I can see how the beginning of the scene could play out.

So Luke and Ben stumble upon a place where they end up crossing paths first with a little girl. She then leads them directly to the two dark siders (whether or not they're her parents or her masters) and things get intense where a confrontation in battle takes place. Luke kills them in front of the little girl and the rest...is up to debate until TLJ comes out.

 

I made a whole thread on why she wasn't left on Jakku and that she was born and raised there. You can look for it if you like, but the forceback makes it seem as if she was left. Just taken there and dropped off. Maz makes you think in the way she says about Luke then he must be Rey's dad and so on. Rey is on Jakku for a reason, everything about her has a reason even her non-last name and maybe even her first name.

AS for what you're saying, anything is possible. Could be Kylo began to doubt Luke, but Snoke has been his guiding force for a few years or so. In his ear and for some reason he betrayed Luke.

You never know. I mean that could be true. Daisy said she thought it was obvious.

 

She was left on a desert planet, And wee see ship left.

And she tells they will back.

She tell this on Jakku there will back, I presume there where she is now, I presume they will not return somehwere else as she is here not there..and expect them in here, and, strangely it is on Jakku.

Don't know is it a some new logic of higher order developed while I was about my haevy toillet issues to, but she has been left on..believe it or not Jakku.
