    Probably not a huge surprise, but word on the street from the UK production is that there won’t be any equivalent to Canto Bight casino in IX.

    What does that even mean?

    Assuming it's even true, it says nothing more other than there isn't going to be an equivalent to the Tatooine cantina, Jabba's palace, Maz's bar or Dryden Vos's lounge. So it just means no aliens playing music and singing songs then?

    I don't think people who have an issue with Canto Bight had an issue with it because it's set in a casino. People had an issue with it because they either didn't like the diversion or the social message. Or both. So presence or lack thereof of a Canto Bight equivalent tells us nothing about the thematics of the story. Those kind of themes can still be present to be despised in any other way. They don't need a casino to do that!

    It was more than exposition for me in fairness. He simply introduced TFA in style. After those two scenes with him I knew I was completely invested! :)

    I actually liked the casino quite a bit even though the story line was a bit wonky for my liking. Thr set, creature and costume design were beautiful.

    Progressive radio host Stephanie Miller has been trying to get Mark Hamill to come on her show or more specifically her week end podcast. Well in a back and forth today on twitter Mark said he is very interested in coming on her show but is working overseas until mid January. Of course it could just be a ruse, but think this kind of clarifies that Luke has substantial role in Ep9.

    Nah, no chance it's the title. :p I wouldn't expect it until January/February. That said, though, with no movie release this December, they could plan things out differently. I doubt that's the case, but who knows.
