    I agree with you...I just watched again PT and it has aged very bad...It was awesome when I watched it in the cinema, but nowadays looks like a PS3/XBOX360 game and I think it is due of being entirely created by CGI. ST has also its issues but I tend to think that it will age much better as it uses CGI but with a base in real images...There are amazing scenes...Jakku, Takodana battle in TFA, Scarif in Rogue One or Ahch-To and battle of Crait in TLJ...The only awful CGI in Disney era is Leia´s flight...

    Only way to prevent CGI from aging is to use no CGI or very little. Gotcha. Translation: every location in the Star Wars galaxy will look like every other which in turn limits it to whatever desert or tundra or forest found on earth. Using any CGI to help enhance these locales for the movies is forbidden. Not very visionary or creative. Nevermind that OTHER movie franchises, tv shows, etc. can pull this off with and still look convincing and unique and otherworldly.

    Speaking of Maz Kanata, I haven’t heard of any rumors or leaks about Maz appearing in TROS. Does anyone have any indications of how Maz will fit into the story? My best guess would be that she shows up at the end, as part of the final battle. I sure hope there’s something more interesting in store for Maz, especially since her role was almost nonexistent in TLJ.
