You are correct that she was killed by Vader in the temple. However, the deleted scene from ROTS was Grievous killing her at the beginning of the movie, which is uncanon. Her death has only been canonly confirmed in the Star Wars: Galactic Atlas. In this book it is written she was killed by Vader meditating in the Temple during its purge, just as Yoda had seen in his vision in Star Wars: Clone Wars.

Last thing we heard about her in Clone Wars Season 7 is that she went to protect the chancellor during the Battle of Coruscant, but apparently she survived that.

Overall I really liked the episode. I was not convinced Bad Batch would appeal to a large audience, but as a huge Clone Wars fan myself I really wanted to know the Aftermath of order 66 for the clones.
For me the Kanan start of the episode worked really well. I got emotional right away the moment I heard Depa mentioned for the first time, knowing what would happen to Kanan and her. I also think it will be the last we will see of Kanan. In Rebels he is still very much distrusting of clones, so any bond he might get with the BB might undo that character progress. I thought it was a nice ending that he decides to not trust Hunter and jump, but a seed of "not-all-clones-might-have-gone-bad" has been planted, which will then help him overcome his distrust in Rebels. I thought that was a nice addition. Also the whole aftermath of the clones losing their individuality was heartbreaking to me.

There were two things that did not really work for me that well.
First, I thought Saw's story line was a bit short. If Tarkin had doubts about the actions of the BB would he not have send an additional force to kill Saw and his group? Now, they landed, had a quick chat, and left. To me it had made more sense if they would have been arrested on the spot, while Saw's group was being bombed by "republic" (now turned empire) ships. It would have added emotional involvement to the BB as we knew there were children and elderly there and it would have added to Saw's story too.
Second, I agreed with James Baney in his SWNN Review that Crosshair suddenly starts missing shots when he becomes the bad guy.

Excited to see how this moves forward.

For me this was the less interesting project from all new shows, cause the Clone Wars/squadron/fighting thing seems quite repetitive.
I thought i wouldn't like it but it's good enough.
The best part is fitting the story with E3 and the creation of the Empire events. Hope they will follow with this part and give some clues about Emperor, Grogu and the cloning thing and link with OT-ST and TM.

They're both deleted scenes. But the Vader one is canon and was later used in TCW.

Just finished the episode! Overall, I really enjoyed it!

For some background - I didn't like the Bad Batch characters when they were introduced in TCW. They didn't value or respect our heroes or the clones we've come to know and love, and weren't nearly as impressive as, say, the Jedi.
This first episode went out of its way to fix that, but it did use some cheats in order to do so. (Or what looked like cheats.)
The animation, characterization, conflict, and action were all top-notch though. The Bad Batch feels like a continuation of TCW in all the best ways. It's honestly going to be weird following around these characters for the entire show TBH, when I've already associated the style to the anthology format of the original show.

Omega was a surprising bright spot for me and my friend as well. My friend attached to her instantly, enjoying her more than he first did Ahsoka and Ezra (...he really doesn't like Ezra lol). And I agree with those feelings. Omega was fun and melded into the cast almost instantly. She did have some stereotypical childlike behavior, but it's the first episode - and she is a child - so I give it a pass.

Ultimately, I guess I'm sold on the show now. It's not perfect, and it's not what I actually want (I'd trade this show for the unfinished and repurposed TCW episodes in a heartbeat), but it's better than I thought it'd be and it's enjoyable.

Ah, interesting. I never knew that they released some incomplete scenes on the Blu-Ray. I only had the DVD version myself back then with the completed deleted scenes. I guess this YouTube video is the one from the Blu-Ray release then.

I just saw TBB-01: Aftermath, and I thought it was a pretty solid Star Wars.

Lots of good stuff going on here and very cool to see some context and consequence past Order 66. Although the episode drags a little in the middle, and goes back over plot points covered several times before, but I guess that's necessary for bringing onboard new viewers. Omega though, she’s a big “yep”!

I like it, and I found the group more engaging and "for me" than I expected. Cool stuff :)

I like every guy on the team but Wrecker needs some work. His intelligence is borderline too idiotic at times. He's a badass powerhouse but then he talks and it's like umm shhh! That stuffed bunny bit at the end made me cringe and I really hope it's not a running gag or part of the character for the whole show

I hear ya on that point. The quasi-yelling about hitting stuff gets a little old. I'm guessing they needed that one character that can keep it light -- think the two droids, Zeb from Rebels, K2SO, etc. The other guys in the BB play it pretty straight.

I agree. Adding buts from ROTS adds a lot of excitement and anticipation. At least for me it did. I hope we can see more of this. Maybe lines that refer to the events of ROTS and events after the ending of that film. Also, good old nostalgia feelings are the best. Am i right or am i right?

Yes he is but still needs some tweaking, which can happen now through out the series

Probably the BB can be best compared to the Rebels crew. Wrecker would then indeed be Zeb, but to me Zeb stood out much more and seemed to have a lot more depht. To be fair, we have only seen BB episode 1. However, in the first episode of Rebels there were very clear and distinct characters introduced. So far, the BB have mostly been distinct from one another by their 'superpowers' and not so much by who they actually are. In a way that makes sense: they are all men cloned from Jango, but it would be a shame if they do not make the distinctions larger. That might also have pushed the choice to introduce Omega. Wrecker has still been fun to me so far, but I can see him get boring very quickly. The "You found my lula!" was awesome to me though. ;)

Excuse me for my ignorance, but will a new episode drop weekly? And what day of the week would that be?

I love when that kind of teamwork is shown with sqauds or people. The closest thing I can remember, is clone effectiveness in clone wars or Anakin and Obi-Wan rescuing the chancellor. Maybe also Qui-Gon and Kenobi in TPM while aboard the federation ship in the beginning. I digress. Its cool to see how those characters in BB put their skills together in an effective way. I assume we will see more of this in the show considering it is a show about this squad or group of clones with different and unique abilities. Then you add in omega. Looking good!

Same. They're growing on me, but I feel like it's mostly due to the situation (and Omega, and the promise of Rex) than the characters themselves.

Most likely and most likely Fridays. I think the episode dropping yesterday had more to do with the fact it was Star Wars Day than anything else.
