Im not sure, but I can only assume rex will be in BB. We got his name referenced in an episode. S if Ahsoka isn’t in it, then ya got rex so yay! :)

In regards to the aging process, I would theorize that in a galaxy of clone soldiers, bacta tanks, and easy space travel, medical science has progressed enough to make 50 year old look a little younger than she should, just saying.

Unlike Zeb, Wrecker was presented with a child-like charm from the go. He settled instantly into a fraternal bond with Omega. He’s not the gruff muscleman who has to be won over and gets his edges sanded off over time. He starts there. It’s part of his character to be that lumbering lovable oaf. That’s intrinsically endearing. There’s no plotting or calculation or misrepresentation. He is what he is: faithful and protective. If you had to make an ATLA comparison, that puts him more in line with Appa than anyone else :D

As far as Toph, you really can’t discount the subversive nature of the character’s makeup: a little blind girl. Yeah, by virtue of her ability and personality, she’s the most imposing, but you can’t avoid the reality of how off-putting it would be to show her getting beat up just to roster a baddy. ‘Congratulations, evil-doer, you manhandled a sightless 12 year-old.’ Ick, no thanks.

Especially when the 50 year old is portrayed by a 57 year old from our rather less advanced reality which seems to be the actual incongruent element in some folk's minds aka how is this woman more than 45 TOPS?!?

Easy, she doesn't sit around all day eating cakes and cookies with tea or coffee loaded with sugar and fattening milk. She lives a healthy lifestyle.
As a martial artist myself she must take yoga, several different fighting styles, does loads of cardio, and lives an active lifestyle. Most 50 year olds have problems walking up a flight of stairs.
My master is 64 years old and is very flexible most 50 year olds can't do half the things he can do. They sit around waiting for the next fattening meal and wash it down with a soft drink loaded with sugar. BTW, I'm 52 I constantly remind people how old I am because they can't believe it. They don't believe I'm that old.

Heh, you got me there. This raises the question of why Star Wars hasn't really attempted anything like this beyond Yoda (and a little bit of TLJ Luke), but that's a conversation for another day.

The problem is that the downside to that childlike charm is a childlike maturity level. Wrecker's level of "I like to blow stuff up" is presented in the same maturity level as Zeb's "I like beating up bucketheads." And again, there's nothing wrong with this behavior - Toph has it too. But unless it's balanced properly by something other than a child-like glee for things, it's really no different than dumb muscle. Even Sabine was better at this. When she blew up stuff, she was trying to create beauty out of destruction. There was a philosophy behind it in a way. Wrecker...hasn't shown me a portion of that depth.

    Heh, fair comparison.

I say everything I've said not because I hate Wrecker - I don't mind the character - but because I want to see more from him than I got from Zeb and have gotten from other archetypal characters like Wrecker. Part of it is fear, yes, but fear rooted in patterns, ones that I think Star Wars needs to break. I don't want Wrecker to fall for the Worf Effect every time a strong enemy comes around, or to be the buffoon every time someone needs to be the butt of a joke. Star Wars can move beyond that.

This is Dave's show, so I'm sure he'll find a way to shoehorn her into the series

I don’t know if I want here to be honest. Especially after we got her in Mando. Although we also see plenty of rex, the BB show is literally about clones so it makes sense to see rex. Idk might just be me. What do you think? Do ya wanna see ahsoka or would you rather not?

I don't mind seeing Rex as he would make sense. I personally don't want to see Ashoka in this specific series. I honestly thought she should of died in Rebels. I feel like she's over stayed the welcome. Especially when she's no where to be seen or mentioned during the events of the OT even though she help out with the rebellion during its formation.

Is it the same rancor that is in ROTJ that gets killed by Luke. It has to be. Jabba and Bib Fortuna were involved. How awesome would that be. Only problem would be the time between BB and ROTJ. How many years is that? Is this time enough for Muchi to grow into that hideous beast in ROTJ.

I think it's about 23 or 24 years ( 20 between ROTS & ANH + 3 or 4 years between ANH & ROTJ ). So that's plenty of time for Muchi to fully grow into.a adult sized Rancor.

I'm assuming it is and there is plenty of time in between for it to grow from adolescent to what we see. I mean it's like over 20 years

I noticed that the person talking to Cid through the hologram seemed to be speaking Huttese, so I thought of Jabba right away. Then when Bib Fortuna showed up, I knew it for sure.

    And… Rhea Pearlman!

Watched the latest episode. It was...alright, but I'm still worried about the direction this show is heading. I don't want the show to go the bounty-hunter path, but going planet-to-planet with one-off adventures can only get the show so far too...I'm not not enjoying this, but it's just...not what I really connected with in the first episode.
