The Gallery for S1 of Mandalorian actually came out a few months after the season ended. The S2 gallery came out a week after it ended.

 

@Darth Derringer, My only issue with the series was I felt it could've been executed way better. Some scenes were absolutely fantastic and others took away my imersion.

 

That's a fair statement. It has some seriously good stuff in it but overall, it felt cobbled together.

I kept waiting for the Tuskin Raider storyline to come full circle in the finale with the reappearance of the Tuskin Chieftess leading an alliance of various Tuskin tribes to Mos Espa to save the day. IMHO, THAT would have nicely tied Boba's time with the Tuskins into the season's conclusion. But it never happened -- strangely, there was no payoff for the first half of the season. Instead we got Boba professing his loyalty to the citizens of Mos Espa. But it begs the question: WHY? Evidently, viewers were suppose to believe that the newfound sense of 'family' Boba gained from his time with the Tuskins somehow carried over to the people of Mos Espa.

Besides the bright colors of the vespas which took me out of the world of Tattooine, the only other thing that bothered me was that the city of Mos Espa felt empty, especially during the gang war. This was probably an unrealistic expectation on my part given it was a TV show. But it speaks to the overall quality of the Favreau and Filoni SW productions in that we've become conditioned to expect feature film-quality in all areas.

Given some of the groan-enducing scenes we've grown to ignore about the PTs and STs, I'd say that, overall, this series was pretty dang good. One could argue that Episodes 5 and 6 were 'as good as it gets' from Star Wars, including any of the feature films.

OMG! One thing has really let this series down for me.

I can't believe in episode 6 that they had R2 D2 and R5 D4 TOGETHER within tooting distance of each other in the hangar and they DID ABSLOLUTELY NOTHING with it!! No acknowledgment of each other! NOTHING!

This was a MAJOR reunion of two MAJOR characters that we've waited years to see together again and it should have been really AWESOME! But it's treated like they don't even recognise each other! Such a missed opportunity.

It's UNFORGIVABLE and Star Wars is ruined for me now.

Yep. What @DarthSnow said. R5 D4 is there on the ground and we don't even see them say 'hello' (in droidspeak obviously)! And we know those guys have a history!

It maybe didn't help that I originally said "RD D2" when I meant "R2 D2". But you knew what I meant right?

R5 D4: Beep Do-Do Beep ... (Actually, I don't recall that. I think I blacked out due to a bad motivator.)
R2 D2: Beep Tweep Beep ... (Don't be modest. You saved the galaxy that day.)

 

Yeah... I dunno. I'm thinking now that maybe R5 is blanking him for that time R2 stole his chance for freedom.
