    Listen to the music of the final battle and you will know who the true hero of the movie is. Finn was just misdirection.

    I don't think anyone has to *listen to the music during the final battle* to figure out who the principle protagonist of this movie is.
    If you want to switch points from "Finn is cannon fodder" and "only heroic in the way he comes back for more asskickings" to
    "Rey is the real hero of the movie" thats progress of a kind.
    Finn is in a triumvirate with Rey and Han as far as screentime and focus are concerned.
    And he is clearly heroic - unless heroism is limited to force sensitive jedi protagonists, which would be rather hard to substantiate.
