Hey guys, any tech nerds out there? I could use some assistance! Lately when I have been in my room and trying to play video games on my PC, I am getting very weak connection. I am barely getting 6-8Mbps. My modem is in the office which is the room next to my bedroom. We have a MAC in there and when I try to check the WiFI speed in there, we can get up 70-100Mbps. I am using an ethernet powerline adapter to have a secured connection rather than a wireless. I can hardly play any of my video games.

Do you guys have any solution as to why this may be the case?

Using a powerline adapter can be pretty iffy sometimes. Your house may have poor wiring (depending on its age), or if the sender or receiver is plugged into a surge protector or exstension cord, that can cause issues. Make sure you don't have any loose connections and that both units are plugged directly into a wall socket. If all of that is okay, it could be an issue with your pc.

What kind of computer do you have?

It is a CYBERPOWER Gamer Master PC. Capable of 4k gaming. I have been trying to play BF2 recently and have been encountering MAJOR freezing/stuttering issue. It renders me practically useless in game. I can't freakin move anywhere as it takes me forever to do so. I'm not sure what is causing this. I don't think its solely a connectivity issue.

Has anyone that has played BF2 encountered your gameplay constantly freezing/stuttering?
