    Apparently some passionate Star Wars fans want to ship Jyn Erso with a female. The petition can be found here. So let's humor them with a poll of potential girlfriends for Jyn.     I am voting for Aunt Beru because she seems down-to-earth and caring -- the calm to Jyn's perfect storm. Together they could make beautiful music together. Their coupling would also be interesting considering Beru's very traditional marriage to Owen. Jyn would have to use her espionage skills to keep her relationship hidden until such time that Beru gives Owen the boot.

    I picked Ahsoka. They just seem compatible as they are both rebellious,no pun intended, in nature and similar in age. Although I could see them breaking up and not making it in the long run.

    Bit late for this petition though. Also, you left out Doctor Aphra. From the brief things I've seen of her I'd put her with Aphra, then Jyn gets killed and Aphra turns to a life of crime and working with Vader coz she has a death wish.

    As much as I would enjoy a lesbian love scene, I don't think it would contribute to the overall story in Rogue One. I feel it would be shoehorned in just to get support from Liberals and Feminists.

    Hi.

    I agree with you, however I think a lesbian scene between Rey and Jyn could help to develop the characters and their motivations as long as they don't have clothes.

    You know, Jakku is very hot in summer and they won't need them. :rolleyes:

    And it would get my support too, and not only because of liberal reasons ;)

    He is saying Jyn would be 47 years older than Rey. Mothma around the time of rogue one wouldn't be too much older than Jyn. Definitely older but not 47 years older.

    Take it from me, Mon Mothma is an entirely different age in the sack. She's a spry one.

    Also, technically, Rey could use Luke/The Emperor's time travel machine to meet Jyn so they could be the same age.
