    I thought the leaked shots of Kylo with Vader's helmet came from the sizzle reel, but I didn't see that in the released trailer this morning.

    Looks like the same B-Wings and Y-Wings from the OT. A-Wings are probably the RZ-2 from TLJ and the same T-70 X-Wings from TFA and TLJ. Anybody recognize the larger ship above the Corvette?

    I really wish we had gotten some cool new ships in this trilogy. The vehicle design lacks the imagination and creativity from the prequels and just seems to be a nostalgia fest. A bit disappointing - but maybe there's more we haven't seen.

    @cassidy Mothballed (decommissioned) star destroyers from the Galactic Civil War era (OT) which have been retaken and reactivated is the most likely reason for the number and concentration of them.

    So, attmepting an analysis. The Resistance's plea for help from TLJ has been answered in RoS, probably by whatever remains of the New Republic government ('cause getting the NR to fight the First Order was what Leia's deleted scenes from TFA was supposedly about) AND/OR other private forces (underworld scum like Lando & Zorri Bliss). These new allies, it seems, brings mostly old ships (or new manufacturings of old designs), with the X-wings, A-wings, Correllian Corvettes etc. In any case, the Resistance now probably have a force strong enough to conceivably face the First Order (whose power we don't really know now that the Starkiller Base & Snoke's Mega-class Star Dreadnaught are out of the picture).

    The problem is that just as the Resistance acquire military strength, Palpatine's old Beyond-hidden fleet returns to strengthen (take over the command off?) the First Order.

    This, using Occam's Razor, seems the most likely. Resistance+New Republic(?)+recruited civilian forces vs. First Order+The Remnant Empire.

    Speculating further, the Resistance side will probably (through Leia's politicking) be relatively stable and united, while the (possibly much stronger) First Order side might possibly be fractured by internal conflict, as Kylo Ren, Hux, Alliante General Pryde, Palpatine(?), Sith lieutenants(?) all vye for power and whose' ambition to advance.

    Thoughts?
