    Should Greedo appear in the Han Solo fillm? What should Greedo's role be?

    It largely depends on when the film takes place...
    If Han doesn't work for Jabba in the film,I hardly think we shall be seeing Greedo.If he does though,I guess Greedo would just be mentioned in the dialogue as a rival or something,and even if he makes an appearance it would be a cameo.

    We see in a TPM deleted scene that Greedo is about Anakin's age and was a bully as a child. Maybe here it could be implied that Greedo flunked out of high school and then turned to a life of crime.

    Greedo should have a minor cameo: he's the irritating kid/ teacher's pet in school who always volunteers for everything, and is promptly ignored. He should be screaming for Jabba's attention to undertake a mission. Jabba scans the room for any other volunteers, but alas there are none. Jabba asks Boba instead, but is told it will cost him extra. Jabba the Hutt gladly agrees, and Greedo calls Boba Fett a nerf-herder. He then proceeds to throw a hissy-fit and kick around rocks and sand outside.

    I would say a small part.. perhaps even just a cameo will do. Something just enough to add some weight to, "Oh, that's why Greedo was "looking forward to this for a long time."

    I could see something like Greedo and Han being rivals as was mentioned above. Maybe Han did something to ruffle Jabba's fat (that's more like a probably than a maybe) and Jabba put the hit out on Han, Greedo was going to collect it, then Han got back into Jabba's good graces and called it off before Greedo had a chance to finish him.
