Han, Rey, Finn and Gleeson Character Leaked Images?

EXACTLY!

One of the things I can't get behind is the idea of Rey and Finn trying to steal a ship BEFORE they "decide" on the Falcon. Reason being? Check out these pictures....





You can see Finn pointing to go a different direction then where Rey is off to, but.......




...IMHO, I think Rey already KNOWS where she's headed. Judging by the pictures above it seems weird they would try and steal a different ship ALL THE WHILE...they are getting shot at. THEN they try the Falcon? That sounds WAY too convenient and over the top...I could be wrong too, though.

 

And based on the background they have to run a good distance of open ground just to get to the Falcon.

 

It also kind of looks like brick to the right of the doorway. Could be the one behind Phasma in the Vanity Fair photo.

Honestly... I don't want to be that person but there is no way that someone could do this without Disney immediately sending in their lawyer army. I think it's a controlled leak.

 

It could be both. It's possible it was a controlled leak and then they started telling people to remove them just to get the internet abuzz and keep the excitement at full capacity leading up to comic-con. If they are screen grabs from the initial teaser they were going to show at celebration, then they're images they were fine with the public seeing months ago now, so I could see any of those scenarios being true.

 

I've seen every Ford movie actually. I'm not saying he doesn't know, care about, or is not related to her. I think he is her father or uncle. But I also think that expression could be many things and doesn't in itself suggest a familial connection. This is an isolated still that could easily be taken out of context. There is nothing in it that concretely says "guilt stricken." It could just as easily be simple empathy for someone he is starting to like, or even be just before he cracks a little sympathetic smile at her awe because he knew a young desert dwelling kid who was awed by other worlds once (who may just be her father if my theory/hope comes true).

Could be right. Or he could be pointing out other people running for cover and she decides to get a ship instead so they can be mobile and actually get away rather than be sitting ducks. I don't think she knows the Falcon unless it is an "I feel like I've been here before" type of thing. Could also be that she knows the current "owner" of the ship and Han is a surprise. And for the record, I believe she is either Han or Luke's daughter, but doesn't know it (hoping for Luke).

 

30 years ago it took at least several minutes for the falcon to be prepped for take-off, i doubt that has changed, so there is no way rey and finn saw the falcon, ran inside, flipped a switch and took-off with tie's chasing after them. and on a planet like jakku you don't just leave the engine running and unintended while you stop in the nearest cantina for a bit to eat

 

Maybe he's saying, "Watch out! ANOTHER Tie fighter is coming!"

 

Here's my take on how they get off Jakku.....

Yeah, I agree there's no way they steal it. Daisy all but confirmed she's a Solo. It's probably her ship. I've been thinking though, what if before Rey and Finn get there, Han and Chewy land on Jakku knowing there's trouble. Leia probably contacted Han after Poe was captured. Han and Chewy approach the Falcon on foot. Han says "there she is" and they board with guns drawn...."chewy were home". Just after, they hear the Tie attack and fire her up and get Rey and Finn out of there. Then they get caught in a tractor beam by some pirates. Han hides the kids and tries to negotiate but things go bad. Rey and Finn join the fight, kick ass, and they escape.

 

Rey being the current owner of the falcon is the most probable outcome. The idea that Leia sent Han and Chewie is much more probable that the one going around where they randomly meet them in the larger ship after getting captured.

 

This is kind of off topic, but could it be possible that Gleeson is playing a "Major Ematt"?

the photo of rey in the falcon suggests that solo is saying that something bad happened.
possibly he is explaining what happened to luke when he got attacked by kylo.
he managed to find rey because maz kanaka probably knew luke because she was in charge
of supplying luke with whatever he needed in his remote location island.

i presume that gleeson's character is learning about who finn really is.
he infiltrated the ship and escaped.

 

Ones of the names that MSW had. We know Gleeson's a general so it's possible his rank is "Major".

 

"General" and "Major" are two very different ranks...

 

A really good source of MSW is saying that she is not a Solo.

 

That source of his was the one that told him it was Jakku, and he did give a caveat on his podcast that he still thinks she is, but the source made him think twice.
