    True. I was going over the names and every name was followed by a "Are you freaking kidding me?" Lol. I'd definitely would go for a relatively unknown, like they did with John and Daisy.

    I hope thats not the correct shortlist because none of them scream young Han Solo to me as of now. To be fair though I haven't really seen any of them extensively so they could be really good in the role for all I know.

    I've seen most of them and they don't seem to fit the part. I mean, at least the most known from the list (Ansel, Miles and Dave) don't really have that roguish personality that a young Han Solo would be expected to have. I might be wrong but they'd rather cast somebody relatively unknown.

    Hopefully, Disney takes notice. I notice a lot of outcry in support for Anthony Ingruber, who I'm suspecting was not among the people Variety listed because he's not really a "name" actor at this point.

    I like Ingruber but can he act like a Han or just do an impression? @Pomojema I mean uncanny resemblance to harrison ford. I guess will see. I can see him and hedlund to be a better fit than a eastwood and Jenner.

    He played a younger version of a character played by Harrison Ford in a film called The Age Of Adaline, and from what I've heard he did a good job on that front.

    I'm almost halfway convinced that this whole casting process is a huge sham to cover up the fact that they'll end up hiring an unknown like Ingruber to play the character. I do think they're going to take notice to fan disappointment with some of the names that leaked.

    I really hope that the reaction to the leaked list gets Disney's attention. It's been pretty much negative across the board. They need to cast Ingruber and I think they will. It's just that he hasn't shown up anywhere except for fan support so that's why I'm nervous. Now Ingruber did say that he was approached to be a voice in Rebels (didn't specify but come on now). Could they be timing the announcement of Han in Rebels with the casting announcement? Leia just got confirmed for Rebels so I don't think it's much of a stretch.

    If it was a fake leak in order to get the fans attention, good news because it worked out. It stirred the Internet since not all of the supposed actors were warmly received by the fans.

    Anthony just shared a post from a FB page called "Anthony Ingruber for Han Solo" and has posted his thanks to everyone's messages. So far he has not made a statement about the so-called shortlist.
