    Donated to date: $125.
Target (which is an educated guess) $1,500.

By the way... if anyone wants to check these numbers... just click the campaign link in the OP. (You don't have to donate to view)

I haven't put a date on it, but since there are immediate needs (the living portion--- meals and transport, and the pain meds), a good portion of it of it is.... well... kinda "now"ish.

    None of that's been mentioned.
Before the Tramacet prescription, the previous one (which was covered) was Hydromorphone (Dr, wisely, won't renew that... because it's an addictive narcotic)

Most pills are considered narcotics, and you're better off trying private practices than general hospitals...and George clooney :p

if the ones you mentioned are off the shelf, I'd still need to pay for them somehow, and transportation to a pharmacy... (Doctor also told me I need to be taking Vitamin C as well).

    An Update.
    This cast...

    ... was removed today.
I'm learning that, with the cast off, there's more pain. (The experienced (with broken wrists), tell me that this is to be expected.)
Two more prescriptions today, from Dr Nelson, the orthopaedic surgeon. One for a removable "splint," and the other (technically an open referral) for Physiotherapy. Since neither are covered under my Provincial Medical plan, I will have to pay for them.
So I just called a physiotherapist to get an estimate. "$70 for the first visit, and $65 for each additional visit." As to how many visits will be needed, I won't know until after that first one.
According to Dr Nelson, the splint costs "between $30 and $100."

Thanks to all who've helped so far, but the needs continue. Spread the word if you can.

    Thank you.
