Help Us Stop Unwanted Popup Ads on SWNN

Please read this post and help us fight any intrusive ads that might appear on SWNN.





The ads we use on SWNN are the only mean of income for the site that covers the expenses for maintaining it and its content.



There are a lot of intrusive and annoying ads on the market that would bring us a much bigger income, but we decided not to use them although many companies offered them to us. We want our readers to have a good experience on the site without any annoying pop ups or ads that will make you click links and forward you to other sites. Know that such ads SHOULD NOT appear on our site. However from time to time we get complains from readers that such ads do happen to appear randomly and I wanted to post this message for you to know that this is without our consent and it is absolutely unacceptable.



The ad companies we work with know that and they are doing their best to prevent this from happening, but sometimes some of their clients broke the trust and send such intrusive ads despite our agreement. In these cases we alert them and they quickly ban the ad that breaks the agreement. So it's very important for you to know that if you get a pop up ad on our site, or an ad that shifts our content, you should immediately alerts us and if possible to send us a screenshot with the ad and on what device or browser you got it. This way we will forward the info to the ad company who will ban the source of this.



Catching such troublesome ads is tricky because they don't happen to everyone. Most of the time they happen on mobile devices. I hope this makes the whole situation with the ads clearer and I hope you will help us block such intrusive ads and make the experience on SWNN much better.
